MM's milking this big time on small trades, last trade gone through at 66.7p, that's a retrace of alomost 50% from this time last Wednesday, ridiculous market manipulation.

Thanks for that analysis the Yard - although they have not found the 87mmbls in the other field - they have frilled it - & RNS does not actually they have found oil...yet - but can see how you evaluate the value & can see it's potential going fwd Plus the demerger plans

Thanks for that "the yard", shows the potential here, hope there's more news soon or we will trickle all the way back down to 60/70's, mm's adopting the usual ploy of ticking down on every sell and trapping all those who bought in at the top yesterday, wish I'd sold and waited!

The Board of Andes (AIM: AEN; BCBA: AEN), the Latin American energy group, is
pleased to announce an update on testing and fracturing activities on the Mata Mora
concession:
HIGHLIGHTS
· The well YPF.NQ.MMO.x-1 discovered oil and gas in the Vaca Muerta formation
· The well found a Vaca Muerta thickness of 136 metres (446 feet)
· During the initial 48 hour period, the well flowed at an average rate of 97 bpd of 31°
API light crude oil
· The well produced on average 10.3 m³/d of oil and 1,434 m³/d of gas during the
production testing period from 31 January to 16 February 2012
· Ryder Scott has attributed prospective resource of 140.8 mmb of oil and 39 bcf of
gas to the block which represents an equity net participation of 19.9 mmboe to
Ande
Corralera
YPF holds a 63% interest in the Corralera block; Kilwer S.A. and Ketsal S.A. a 13.5%
interest; Andes a 13.5% interest; and the government entity, Gas y Petróleo del
Neuquén, a 10% interest.YPF has advised Andes that the Ryder Scott Report has attributed
649.8mmboe of prospected resource to the Corralera block of which Andes has a net
participation of 87.7mmbo

19.9 + 87.7 = 107.6 x 5 = $538m / 1.60 = 336.25m / 174 = £1.93

Are they based on $5 in ground value as per last broker note
$100m / 1.60 fx = £62.5m / 174m shares = 36p

the acquisition of certain utility assets as well as oil and gas exploration
