20/9/2017 15:40 | No worries Waterloo, it could have happened to a saint! :-) | greendragon777
20/9/2017 15:12 | Definitely a current lack of interest in AMYT. Just 2 very small trades so far today, both sells. For a paltry 4035 shares in total. Around £1k. The MM's wont make any money out of AMYT at this rate! LOL. PS. With all these presentations AMYT are obviously trying very hard to drum up interest in the company, but so far the effect has apperently been negligable! It seems that UK investors are not that interested in AMYT and the pumpers and dumpers would much rather buy and then sell natural resources explorers with small market caps; much easier for the spivs to manipulate the sp's. I'm not selling, but it wouldn't surprise me to see the AMYT share price drift gradually downwards until the next news. Possibly that presentation and webcast in 3 weeks time on the 12th October. Lets hope this doesn't happen and the Americans start buying; however they are taking their time! | papillon
20/9/2017 14:47 | Really sorry, bad information the event I was thinking about was on the 12th. False alarm! | waterloo01
20/9/2017 14:26 | Nice one Waterloo, thanks for the heads up. As you say, hopefully it will ignite some more interest in AMYT. Investors are gonna wake up to this seriously undervalued company eventually! :-) Do you have a link to that webcast by any chance? | greendragon777
20/9/2017 14:17 | Conference and webcast tomorrow should be interesting. Might ignite some extra interest post Amicus bust! | waterloo01
19/9/2017 18:05 | 276k is decent volume for sure Paps when compared to recent months. There defo seems to be renewed interest in AMYT and that's exactly what want right now! 😁 We won't put the Champers on ice just yet though! Haha | greendragon777
19/9/2017 16:47 | Nice little positive reversal today, greendragon, on good volume. | papillon
19/9/2017 14:11 | Nice one Paps, the positive trend on the buy side seems to be holding up well. Hopefully we'll have more of the same over the coming weeks and months with a nice steady climb towards 40p before the takeover bids start coming in! 😁 | greendragon777
19/9/2017 13:39 | 2 reasonable sized buys (28k & 50k) just gone through at full asking price of 25.50p. Bodes well for the share price in the short term? | papillon
18/9/2017 18:26 | >>>>> I don't subscribe, but you are allowed to read three "free" articles per month. I haven't read the article because I have a fair idea what it will say. | papillon
18/9/2017 09:31 | Totally agree AB.it's just a case of when is the penny gonna drop on this one! 😉 You would have thought if a large pharma company like Amicus had any interest in buying out AMYT at some stage down the road that they would start buying as many shares as possible now at such a cheap price. Could they acquire 25% of the company for under 50p per share? | greendragon777
18/9/2017 09:06 | I think the A,icus story could prove to be very significant for us, if US investors put the story together we might be in for some bid action sooner than we think.... | alphabravo321
17/9/2017 21:40 | Nice one Paps, thanks for posting that article....makes for great reading! The question now is....will we manage to increase our holdings before the bids start to come in! Haha | greendragon777
16/9/2017 12:23 | AMYT chart. No sign of a breakout from a short term downtrend (going back to April). Unless we get more good news, or buying interest (eg from the USA following last weeks New York presentation) I cannot see this short term downtrend being broken anytime soon. Volume not high and 14 day RSI is in over bought territory. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | papillon
15/9/2017 21:24 | Well, if you base your investment decisions on the charts, then AMYT is probably a short term sell at this moment in time (longer term the chart still looks good). The 14 day RSI is in over bought territory (as is W%R), we've had 5 consecutive white candlesticks (6 could be stretching it) and the share price is marginally above the upper Bollinger Band. Also the expected buying from the USA following the AMYT presentation and demise of Zorblisa hasn't yet materialised. I'm not selling, but it wouldn't surprise me, in the absence of further good news, or Yankee buying, to see the AMYT share price fall back. I'm not a trader, but traders who bought a few weeks ago at under 21p might be sellers for a quick profit. PS I'm sure Cathal Friel must be as baffled as the rest of the bulls posting on here, as to why there is such a lack of current buying interest in AMYT among UK investors. | papillon
15/9/2017 15:20 | Congemi Posts: 255 Off Topic Opinion: No Opinion Price: 25.75 CEO and CFO (Today 12:56) both invested over €1 million at 24 pence back when it merged. Cathal Friel bought out older investors at close to 28 pence prior to merger. So even though they have executed their plan better than expected none of the big boys have made money here. >>>>> Actually Cathal Friel paid the equivalent of 32p (4p before 1 for 8 consolidation) to buy out big investors in FAST who could block his attempt to convert FAST from an O&G company into a biotech. He paid out around £750k to buy those circa 18m FAST shares @ 4p per share (a very big premium to the then circa 2.5p sp). So Cathal Friel is still under the water concerning those purchases. Friel must have been very keen to remove those big FAST shareholders from the share register to pay such a high premium to "dispose" of them! | papillon
15/9/2017 14:59 | Yes, greendragon, lots of red today. That's what happens when N. Korea fires yet another missile over Japan. Regarding the 97k sell @ 25p. There could be any number of reasons why he (or she) sold those shares, but one thing is certain, if he (or she) read this bb they definitely weren't swayed by the bullish posts in the last few days! | papillon
15/9/2017 14:29 | LMBO Paps.....he'll need something a bit stronger to cure that! 😂 | greendragon777
15/9/2017 14:27 | Lots of red across the board in the markets today....AMYT holding it's own though....in fairness it doesn't move with the markets given the type of stock it is. My Crypto portfolio got hammered this morning but didn't sell a single coin.....just enjoying the rollercoaster ride! Haha | greendragon777
15/9/2017 14:24 | Those jars of Zorblisa might be a very good cream for curing a sore ar*e. I'm sure the Amicus CEO has got one after effectively wasting US$229m! LOL. | papillon
15/9/2017 14:21 | Yes bazworth. Someone was so keen to sell there 97k they have accepted the bid price of just 25p. Let's hope he has made a big mistake!! LOL. However it hasn't moved the share price so there be buyers in the background. | papillon
15/9/2017 14:19 | Haha....every time the MD sees them in the warehouse he's reminded of the $250m that was flushed down the toilet! 😁 | greendragon777
15/9/2017 14:16 | I agree, diamondstar, that it takes "2 to tango". Also the price Amicus paid would have depended on how many "suitors" Scioderm had. Again it's like an auction; if you are desperate to buy something and there are others also keen to buy it the successful bidder will have to overpay to acquire it. Supply & demand in action! No doubt that if a company bid for AMYT now then they would have to overpay to acquire it. The AMYT BoD would place a very high price on the company because they know the potential. More than one suitor would jack up the price even more. | papillon
15/9/2017 13:48 | Greendragon... imagine all the extra tubes of Zorblisa cream the Amicus are stuck with... now shown to be similar to placebo! | diamondstar1 |
