18/12/2018 23:36 | Thing is, the announcement when it comes will almost certainly be within this period of pretty awful stock market turmoil. Who knows, something really positive may lead to share price falls! Hold on to your tin hats!! Seen this all at least once before, I must be old!! | bazworth
18/12/2018 23:05 | I'm inclined to agree with Paps that the announcement may be after Christmas unless it comes tomorrow or the day after and these things rarely seem to come sooner rather than later! Probably better if it's early January as it will provide more liquidity to trade if you want to do so whether the news is positive or negative. I know you're a big fan of technicals Paps and knowledgeable too so I'll be very interested to get your take on the charts after the RNS on the interims. There will be a big uptick in trading volumes particularly if it's positive news as many investors will initially take profits, but I think it will resume an upward trajectory shortly after the initial sell off/profit taking. If it's positive then I will most likely hold tight until at least mid 2019 when they reach the next stage of the trials for AP101 along with other developments such as AP103 etc. I also think these would be strong interest from other companies for a takeover. Just my 2 cents but all bets are off on a negative readout......let's hope that won't be the case though! 😀 | greendragon777
18/12/2018 22:24 | I understand your sentiment Papillon, I have been here since FAST/2014, the closer we get the further away the announcement feels....will it be tomorrow? Will it ever happen?? | alphabravo321
18/12/2018 19:30 | Why is it, DEADloss, that you only post after I post on this bb? I don't believe you hold AMYT. I think you are stalking me and that's the only reason you post on this bb. PMSL. | papillon
18/12/2018 17:23 | Yes prob chasing my tail with VAL. Av now 1.8p. Will it ever reach that again. The next quarter will be crucial. Hopefully AMYT will soften any blow | volsung
18/12/2018 16:08 | Only 3 full trading days plus a half day before Xmas. 3 and a half days in which to issue that RNS. Then a further 2 and a half days trading in which to issue that RNS before the end of the year if it's not been issued before Xmas. It's all getting a bit tight to issue that RNS in what remains of December trading. | papillon
18/12/2018 15:33 | Why, bazworth? I'm only guessing! It's very close to Christmas after all. Not a period of the year for getting a lot done. But as I said I'm only guessing. I hope my guess is wrong. | papillon
18/12/2018 15:33 | volsung - wow be careful! | bermudashorts
18/12/2018 15:29 | O/T I think you are mad to buy more VAL, volsung. You're throwing good money after bad, IMO. Looking at the long term VAL chart it's gone from 5000p (£50) in 2006 to the current 0.80p after taking into the 2015 consolidation. It's a basket case, IMO. Just a vehicle for destroying PI's wealth. It must be one of the worst wealth destroying shares on AIM and that's saying something! PS. If the imminent (hopefully!) AMYT RNS is bad then I'm out. I've stuck around for almost 4 years (originally in FAST) and I can't be bothered to wait around for another 4 years, or so, while AP103 is being trialled. | papillon
18/12/2018 15:14 | Papillon, why? | bazworth
18/12/2018 14:50 | I added to my VAL today. Probably mad | volsung
18/12/2018 14:47 | I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we'll see that EASE interim analysis RNS before Xmas. Maybe not even before the end of the year. | papillon
18/12/2018 12:23 | O/T 3 biggest percentage fallers today are all AIM listed biopharmas! Not a good sign! VAL down 29.55%, MTPH down 19.35% and OKYO down 17.14% PS. I keep having this nightmare, alphabravo, of waking up in the morning and seeing AMYT as the biggest percentage faller on the day. :-) | papillon
18/12/2018 07:40 | Any day now zzzzzzz | alphabravo321
15/12/2018 22:15 | Thats a fairly loaded post Expat! | alphabravo321
15/12/2018 19:25 | I have a feeling in my bones that the EASE trial results will be positive! I hope so I hold a lot of these things! If its any concellation i think EASE results are due out on 24th, and the lads will have to release them immediately, it depends wether the lab gets them out before their xmas recess, if not, it will be early Jan, but I suspect with all outstanding warrants due to expire on 31st Dec they will try hard to release before 31st, to get a bounce and to see if anyone takes up their options | expat pat
15/12/2018 16:02 | I like to think they have a good idea of how this trial is going... | alphabravo321
15/12/2018 14:33 | You barely mentioned it! AMYT that is! | bazworth
15/12/2018 14:06 | O/T What big, profitable, companies paying dividends, like Carillion & Royal Mail, bazworth? :-) You've still got to pick the winners whether they are FTSE100, FTSE250, or AIM companies. It's not easy picking winners. PS. I said I wouldn't post on AMYT until the RNS is issued, but I couldn't resist replying, bazworth. Anyway I haven't posted on AMYT! :-) | papillon
15/12/2018 13:09 | It’s awful this investing malarkey, we’re always waiting for something to happen. The real issue is that far too many of us, me included, chase the fast buck. We would probably be better off long term investing in profitable companies that pay a good reliable dividend and then reinvesting that income! | bazworth |
