27/9/2018 16:14 | Looking at the charts in the header I suspect this will re-test July's low of 16p (closing price) before the share price starts to rise again in anticipation of the EASE update expected in December 2018. That's over 2 months away so I don't see any significant share price rise in the short term UNLESS WE GET GOOD NEWS IN THE MEANTIME! Say another good revenue update on Lojuxta, or (HOPEFULLY) news of another licensing deal. They have mentioned they are looking for other Lojuxta type licensing deals; perhaps they'll announce one, one day? In the meantime it's back to sleep! | papillon
27/9/2018 14:56 | YIPPEE, mdalos!!!!!!!! Even my LOGP has started to take off!! All it needs now is for someone (anyone!) to start buying AMYT shares to push up the share price As it is the rampers and pumpers and dumpers continue to ignore AMYT. Looks like I'll have to be patient for at least another 2 months before anyone starts to take notice of AMYT. The AMYT BoD must be scrachting their heads in puzzlement. They've tried everything; bullish presentations and bullish conference calls and still no buyers of AMYT shares. Still the share price stays at just above the equivalent of the 2p of FAST when it was at rock bottom! PS The Barryroe farm out has reignited interest in the Celtic Sea offshore of Cork, South West Ireland. Could that have benefits for those who were FAST shareholders (like me) before the RTO? After all the remaining FAST assets (Celtic Sea 3D seismic that cost 18m Euro's) were put into a trust fund for the future (possible) benefit of FAST shareholders on the register in December 2015 (I think it was the 15th, or 17th December). | papillon
26/9/2018 23:01 | I'm up around 45% (on paper) on PVR as it edged up further again before the close, mdalos. I think PVR will go higher though there will be pullbacks on profit taking along the way. I think we have had the 1st up wave on the Elliot Wave Cycle. Only time will tell. My short term target for PVR is 20p plus. That's not investment advice by the way because I don't tip shares. PVR was a low risk gamble in my view because the farm out deal for Barryroe was always odds on to be closed. My loss on AMYT is NOT "actual", mdalos. It's a paper loss of around 15%. However if the EASE interim analysis is negative then it will be an "actual" loss and it will be far more than a 15% loss!!!! Fingers crossed we get good news!!!! I'm gambling we do get good EASE news. AMYT is fairly low risk for an AIM biotech because the Lojuxta revenue and future growth provides a safety net for the share price mdalos, the last person I would ask for investment (or gambling!) advice is you! I wouldn't be up 45% (on paper) on PVR if I had followed your advice and sold them 2 weeks ago! I should lay off the alcohol, mdalos, as it's adversely affecting your judgement. :-) | papillon
26/9/2018 18:16 | papillon, I think I understand! Mind you, I honestly don’t particularly care what causes the whooooosh as long as we get one. The game is to make a return on our investments and how that is achieved is immaterial. There will always be far bigger players in the game many of which will have sufficiently large pots to influence the sp, one way or another! Good luck and keep smiling. Life is far too short to let the stock markets get you down. Cheer! | bazworth
26/9/2018 17:00 | It appears you can "cash out" your bet on the horses as well, bazworth. "What does it mean to cash out a bet? Cash out allows you to get money back on your bet before the event you are betting on is over. The amount of money you get back is determined at the time of cashing out and will depend upon the current likelihood of the bet winning – so it could be greater or less than the initial stake." "I still think that there will be a serious whooooosh at some point as we get closer to hearing about trials." That will, no doubt, be due to the short term gamblers placing their bets on the outcome of the EASE interim analysis, bazworth! :-) LOL. PS I imagine T20's being taken out in AMYT by gamblers near the end of November,. | papillon
26/9/2018 16:49 | Horses etc. absolutely different as at least with shares we normally have many opportunities to sell and take our money off the table. Always best to have a good selection of stocks and hopefully the better performers will make up for the crud. I still think that there will be a serious whooooosh at some point as we get closer to hearing about trials. | bazworth
26/9/2018 16:33 | Gambling on the AIM casino in shares like AMYT is no different to gambling in a casino, or on the geegees, digadee. If someone buys AMYT in late November they wont have long to wait to find out if they have backed a winner, or a loser (unless the interim analysis is postponed again). And I suspect that there will be punters having a bet on the EASE interim trial result just prior to the announcement. Some punters will be gambling on a good result by buying shares, whilst other punters will be derisking before the result is announced. The stock market is full of traders (gamblers!). Though that might change if JC ever becomes PM. PS You can lose all your stake money gambling on shares, just like the geegees. MTV, CTAG, CICC, CICG, ........ and so on are good examples of long term holders losing all the money they invested. | papillon
26/9/2018 16:20 | I think you are in denial, digadee. This is what someone posted on the LOGP bb when I said my largest holding was AMYT, a biotech. I had to laugh at that post because AIM listed O&G's, like LOGP, are also just as much of a GAMBLE as AIM listed biotechs! In fact LOGP has been a lousy gamble for long term holders (not me fortunately) having dropped from circa 70p to 1.7p in 6 years. 26/9/2018 15:29 | And if you think that buying shares in an AIM listed share isn't gambling then you need to see a psychiatrist! ---------------- Nope i dont think its gambling at all. Gambling is all or nothing, not sure how buying shares in AMYT fits that description. Like i said you should bet on the horses or goto a casino if gambling is what you want to do, least you wont have to wait a long time to see if you get a return on your money or not :-) | digadee
26/9/2018 15:19 | I can't ride a push bike, let along a motorcycle, bazworth! :-) I'm GAMBLING on the result of the EASE interim analysis, digadee. I've been GAMBLING on the EASE phase III trial ever since Amryt RTO'd into FAST. That's coming up for 2.5 years. Buying AMYT shares is like GAMBLING on the toss of a coin, or a horse in the 4.30 at Ascot. Hopefully the coin being tossed is biased and the horse I've put my money on in the 4.30 at Ascot is the odds on favourite! :-) | papillon
26/9/2018 15:12 | I'm still hanging on greendragon. I've been hanging on to FAST/AMYT for almost 4 years, so I can't be accused of lacking patience. Trouble is I'm an OAP and I can't keep hanging on for ever. When you get past 70 one never knows how long you've got left before you kick the bucket! :-) | papillon

26/9/2018 14:29 | No one can legislate for how you feel Paps but I think it would be a shame to come this far and not see it through to the end. Leaving the share price aside for a moment, everything is going according to plan and I guess we can only be grateful for the Amicus data did cause a delay but should also have increased the chances of success considerably. You sound a bit fatigued with AMYT (or investing in general) which is understandable given the amount of time you have been in it. However, nothing gives one a boost better than a big 'whoooosh' as one of the posters puts it on here! :-) Hang in there Paps! | greendragon777
26/9/2018 14:29 | Buy a motorcycle Paps, that will bring joy to your life!! | bazworth

26/9/2018 14:07 | CFO says interim result in December in Proactive report on YouTube | alphabravo321
26/9/2018 11:25 | I haven't yet read today's results RNS, greendragon. I must admit I'm getting rather bored with AMYT. In fact I'm getting bored with shares period! I can't even get excited about the 40% rise in my PVR shares in the last week. I'm continuing to hold my AMYT shares, but I must admit to be losing interest in gambling on shares. I'm getting too old to care. | papillon
26/9/2018 11:18 | They said on the conference call they anticipate spending a million per month for the rest of 18 | alphabravo321
26/9/2018 11:12 | "Cash at 30 June 2018 was €12.2 million with a €10.0 million undrawn balance on our European Investment Bank (”EIB”) facility as of June 2018. €5.0 million of this undrawn balance was subsequently drawn down in September 2018" Looks like they still have 5 mil left to draw on so their cash position might not be all that bad if Lojuxta revenues take a big jump which we hope will be the case after all the new licensing deals. Hopefully the cash requirements for the trials is easing off too if most of the costs are front loaded as Diamondstar mentioned before as a possibility. All roads lead to AP101 either way so we'll know our fate come the end of Q4! | greendragon777
26/9/2018 11:06 | I flicked through it earlier Paps and thought it said there was €10m undrawn as at 30th June and they have subsequently drawn down €5m of the remaining €10m. I could be mixing up the dates and figures though so I'll have another look! | greendragon777
