Not me anyway Paps but hopefully someone from here went and might post up some info.

All quiet on the Western front in the meantime!

Amongst a number of small trades today (only 14 trades all day) another sizeable sell this afternoon. 164,270 @ 16.60p (below the 17p bid price). Timed at 15:34, but reporting delayed. All the trades, bar one, are marked down as sells today which goes to show the quoted spread for AMYT is a complete nonsense, as usual! The exception was a 1,300 buy @ 17.7p (full asking price) first thing this morning. The buyer needs to look around for a new broker because the next trade was a 20k buy @ 17.265p!

Presumably no one is going to tonight's presentation? Not surprised.

O/T. Excellent rise for OCDO on the back of today's news.

Anyone bothering to go to the AMYT presentation tonight?

"I intent to get my broker to sign over authority to vote at the upcoming AGM. Even if I can't make it it's worth doing folks, because sometimes you find your broker isn't actually holding all the shares you think are yours.

E.g. I once asked for some of my shares to be certificated. Broker pulled a bit of a strop about it taking some time and I didn't get the certificates for over 20 days."

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Your broker probably loaned them out for a fee, Jim, so someone could short the shares. He probably wasn't happy with you because he might have had to pay a higher price to buy them back! :-). Lots of shares held in nominee a/c's are loaned out for a fee so punters can short the shares.

I find it hard to imagine anyone being brave enough to short AMYT, because they don't appear to be overpriced.

My guess is that 2 x 43.379 was a bed & ISA because of the amount involved, the time differential and difference in price. He probably needs to look for a new broker! :-)

Other oddities today:

Sloppy rollover or B&x 10:17 and 10:19:21 for 43,379 - steep price, 2.5% - £189? My broker would do that for £50. £25 if he was in a good mood.

But TWO MINUTES between halves?? Looks like someone wanted to print a sell and let the stink linger, but then again could just be a PI moving shares manually from an ISA to a SIPP e.g.

Coincidence though that £270k sell dropped an hour later, at 16p.

80k at 11:45:09 wasn't a real live RSP price. Was being quoted slightly above bid to sell 100k. So what's that print all about? Similarly for 50k at flat bid 17p 15:36:03, was being quoted slightly above to sell larger quantities.

Don't believe a word of it. Mind you it's been smoke and mirrors for many months now. Had hoped when the 20p placing was secured the garbage would end but it was played right up to the end of the lock-in period mid April and beyond.

Been a strange day. I poll the bid from time to time and often they would take a lot of my hands, over 100k, sometimes nearly 200k, in one go.

Then one tiny sell and it was NT for any amount over 5k to sell.

Give it an hour and they'll take 100k off me again.

Then the strange print at 16p appeared, but they'd still take 100k off my hands a shade over 17p. Why would they be bidding over 17p if they didn't still need shares?

Felt to me like someone or some algorithm was adding then pulling the bid from time to time, supplemented with a little tickle of selling here and there, felt like an attempt to get the price to drift a bit lower.

Can mean only one thing but it's taken sooooooo long to get here.

I intent to get my broker to sign over authority to vote at the upcoming AGM. Even if I can't make it it's worth doing folks, because sometimes you find your broker isn't actually holding all the shares you think are yours.

E.g. I once asked for some of my shares to be certificated. Broker pulled a bit of a strop about it taking some time and I didn't get the certificates for over 20 days.

Completion date on some of the shares? After I'd asked for the certs. My broker was betting against me. They had predicted some of my purchases weren't going to be good trades and bet against me.

If someone was expecting a good RNS on the 17th April, digadee, they would have had to have bought on the 16th April. If they bought on a T20 they would have had to close yesterday. Count the days digadee (there was a Bank Holiday on the 7th May).

They could have closed today, but would have had to have bought on the 17th April following the release of the results RNS @ 7am on the 17th April. Did anyone buy 270k on the 17th April? No idea, but I somehow very much doubt it.

Spot on, waterloo01. This RNS from June 2014 explains the big rise:

Are you a SUMM shareholder, waterloo? I looked at some on the earlier posts from 2012 on a SUMM bb and I saw your name.

Ah well, greendragon, I should have realised it was only wishful thinking on my part. Back to reality; it appears nobody is interested in AMYT.

That's a pretty healthy return Paps! :-)

No reason it couldn't hit £4 in the future if everything goes according to plan. Picture a scenario where AP101 gets approval and the Lojuxta sales are maximized coupled with a couple of more good licensing deals. Then it is floated on the Nasdaq.

If all that happens Paps we'll be there to ring the opening bell ourselves on it's debut! hahaha

SUMM are also presenting along with AMYT on the 17th. SUMM share price today was 197.50p. Exactly 4 years ago, on the 14th May 2014, the SUMM share price was 8.125p. Wouldn't it be nice to see a similar performance from AMYT! If the AMYT share price performed as well in 4 years time it would be around 400p! Will it? Who knows; I don't!

Posted last week. Yet another presentation! Anyone going?

Aim_Trader 9 May '18 - 10:45 - 2804 of 2836

Amryt Pharma will be presenting to investors at the Proactive One2One Healthcare Forum taking place on the evening of 17th May in London. For details and registration, please click here:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The link states: "This event is suitable for the following:

Sophisticated & private investors, private client brokers, fund managers, financial institutions, hedge funds, buy & sell side analysts and journalists." It doesn't say it's suitable for ignorant, penniless, pensioners, so that counts me out then! Hence I wont be going! :-)

Will be interesting to see what the settlement is Paps but I'm guessing it's going to be buttons on the overall scheme of things. I guess we'll know in a week or two.

There's been some great discussion here around AP101, Episalvan and Lojuxta over the last number of weeks. I feel increasingly confident that the share price is underpinned by all of these in the long term even in the event of a failed AP101 trial. That said we obviously want AP101 approval if we are to realize a significant gain on our investment, not to mention the poor souls who suffer from EB who need this a million times more than any of us here need to make money!

Anyway, fingers crossed we'll get some good news in the meantime. I can't see AMYT sitting on their hands until October.....hopefully we'll get a couple of announcements between now and then!

It's very apt in regard to AMYT, greendragon, because the interim EASE results are promised for early Q4. So just after "September Ends". Let's hope we get some good news before then. Only 20,085 shares traded so far today; AMYT is almost completely off of investors radar.

PS We might get some news this week, greendragon, since JimbobTechstock posted this last week ... "Also in the court documents is a granted letter motion, unopposed by the defence, stating a negotiated settlement is "likely" by "mid May"" So we might hear news of a settlement between AMYT & Alan Harris this week. Whether it will be good for the sp, who knows?

Expenses Sat 15:24 The thing that worries
me here is that we are top heavy with directors all taking big salaries, At the moment we are a one trick pony,At the moment it looks like the company is only there for the benefit of the BOD.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

How wrong can you be, Ajok? Another dope who hasn't a clue what he's talking about!

Yes there are SIX Directors, but ONLY TWO are execs "taking big salaries". The remaining FOUR Directors are all non execs taking a small salary.

How can AMYT be classed as a "one trick pony". It has a revenue generating drug, Lojuxta (how many AIM listed bios can claim that?), plus AP101 undergoing phase III trials plus AP102 & AP103 in pre clinical.

Ajok is obviously stupid, or there is an ulterior motive behind his post.

There's been a lot of talk of AP101 being pushed further out, on here, on LSE and elsewhere. But in reality a 6 month delay on the programme (negative) and full access to the Amicus data set (positive) to refine the inclusion criteria to improve probability of success.

6 months is not major in a programme this length but what's really interesting for me at least is the apparent shift in the commercial focus. I had initially thought it was indicative of a new market-ready product being in-licensed to utilise the distribution set up for Lojuxta, but just maybe now that they have the distribution established for Lojuxta they're looking again at how they can use the existing European PTW license.
