Certainly is a despair moment for Amphion. Maybe Motif will motor on again soon. Dataeternity is the new name

Small crow, your lack of contact is deafening! Would you like double or quits on the share price dropping to 1p ?

Down we go! As I suspected, yet another false dawn. Back to 2p I fear.

Whatever our holding in MTFB is worth, it's increasing. Just remembering, we were thinking of divesting quite a chunk about a year ago when MTFB looked like holding 50p. We didn't as it dropped. Could be up to 50p and well over soon if Iclaprim works out.

I don't know, but I just bought a few more. Obviously risky but could be a VERY good punt if all goes well with MTFB, Data, and the rest. Not something you should mortgage the house for, but putting "the bit you can afford to lose" here is probably worth contemplating.

It's a very weak suspicion!

SC, I would love you to be correct though think the movement this week is just MTFB. The last released narrative on Data IP seemed quite down beat?

My suspicion is that there is also another factor simply because it is not shadowing MTFB as closely as I would have expected. Hopefully the Data IP may be reaching a compromise with interested parties - which would easily leak given the number and nature of those involed?

And up we go again! Is it all due to Motif or are there other forces at work here?

MTFB Motif good news is driving AMP's recovery Company not down and out; recovery of Motif the main driver at the moment; Kromek doing well too; no news on Datatern for ages

Is something up? The share price certainly is! Is anyone aware of anything relevant or is it just another false dawn?

as per interims published on 7 September 2016: Amphion's holding of intellectual property assets is valued at amortised cost of US $197,474. In addition to the initial purchase of these IP assets from our Partner Company FireStar Software, Amphion has made additional substantial investment in these assets. That investment has been expensed as incurred and the value of those assets continues to be carried only at amortised historical cost. The Directors believe that the realisable value of the intellectual property assets held by DataTern is substantially in excess of the carrying value and the incremental investments being made in the pursuit of infringers of the IP will generate a significant profit. We believe that if we are successful in concluding licensing agreements with the various infringing parties at levels that meet our expectations, the Company's NAV per Ordinary Share would be significantly higher. Since that date Motif was brought about, and just recently issued shares to the tune of $20M. But since then, the only way Amphion's shareprice has gone is down. How cruel is this?

Some good news recently for AMP. Interims promised some good news and Datatern latest court case in September and now good terms with MTFB and some money for our services over the pond. Sounds like Motif will list fairly shortly on Nasdaq.

Not much stock out there. Managed to get 50000 at 3.3p after some haggling with a MM who wanted 3.375p then the price immediately moved up. I believe AMP has reached the bottom now. I reckon that MTFB will get to the NASDAQ shortly and that AMP will rise beyond 5p when it does. Good luck to all long term holders like me.

About MTFB. A post says that the 'main holder' is supporting the NASDAQ fund raising but doesn't say who this is. If it is AMP, who held 26% at 31/12/15, then I suggest that the meaning of 'support' needs to be defined. AMP appears to be pretty short of cash and has already pledged well over half its MTFB shares as collateral against loans charging 10% (!) interest. The latest tranche is covered by the RNS above dated 18/7/16 where AMP has borrowed $750,000 with 1.4m MTFB shares as security ie an implied value of about 42p/share. Followers of Quindell and similar will know that the way these deals usually work is that the lender, probably with the benefit of a Put arrangement, sells if the share price falls near 42p, thus recouping the loan. MTFB is unlikely to survive for many months unless it can convince investors that its products will be successful. I strongly recommend that any investor, actual or potential, should read the AMP and MTFB accounts and then tell me if/where I am wrong. Also note that AMP has just sold some of its Kromek shares.
