I believe there are several brokers who specialise in AIM IPOs and placings, including Shard, Cornhill and Beaufort.

Take your pick!

G7 .. As per the header at the top of the page, Each Partner Company is chosen with the goal of achieving an exit valuation in excess of $100 million.

MTFB currently 40m so some way to go before they will consider selling and would not look good suddenly changing strategy.

If AMP needed £1.5m why dilute shareholders, why not sell 2% of their MTFB holding.

it makes sense to bank 1.5m from mtfb instead of dilution. maybe a lock in period.

You need to get yourself a proper broker, they might cost a bit more than the online retail service providers and you have to speak to someone over the telephone rather than click a mouse to buy shares, but you will be presented with IPO and placing opportunities that you will never get with the likes of TD Waterhouse, Halifax share dealing etc

Wish I had the chance to take part in the placing ; AIM stocks always seem to have a "some shareholders more equal than others ".

Trotters be careful the £1.4m after expenses wont cover the promissory notes and interest. There is 18 months of legal expenses . The 10 million loan facility and MTGB will need 10-20 million to complete trials to produ tion stage and then as iclaprim is not a new drug the patent already has a lot of time elapsed and it will be used as a last measure antibiotic so the sales will be limited

lol, Stig is obviously talking this down for his own agenda. The bottom line is they are now funded, KMK has amazing potential wining contracts left, right and centre and Motif could easily double in 3 months. News due soon on the court case too.

Any fool can see that AMP @ Mcap £11m is massively undervalued. I continue to accumulate at these levels. this will gap up to 10p in no time.

The problem with this share realising its true vakue lies in all the directors promissory notes and options which will cause more dilution...with investments of 35m in last accounts net assets were only 6m...it is all disclosed in last accounts....pages and pages ...well worth reading. Since then MFTB has floated which increases NA but also millions more legal costs, there will probably be more WOs on unlisted investments and KRK has fallen. The telling thing with the legal cases is till now the Ds were happy to fund the costs now they are not! I just wonder if AMP has also built up its coffers by selling listed shares in last couple of days...that would be very telling DYOR GLA

A placing is not AMP's normal approach, historically if they needed to raise funds they have used loan financing to avoid dilution, as they did last year:
