Did anyone else spot the two 1,000,000 delayed trades which appeared on the ticker tonight? (priced at 128.50, maybe that's a support level).

I reckon they are two buys which the market makers have been filling since results were announced on Tuesday.

In terms of making an acquisition, there is also 2m uncancelled treasury shares valued at appx 2.5mGBP

Basically, they are not short of a bob or two..

These are the comparisons between the last known TR1 and RDIR share holdings update.

Old/new

Kestrel Partners.................22.00%....22.1%

Milton Asset Management..........17.80%....17.5%

Close Brothers Asset Management ..5.10%....5.9%

Chelverton Asset Management.......5.21%....6.1%

Mr Ari Charles Zaphiriou-Zarifi...3.20%....3.3%


Listed the shareholdings which have changed, with the exception of Miton the remaining four holders have all increased, albeit small amounts.

If this is accurate it takes the shares held by institutions from 70.26% to 71.8%, leaving a free float of around 22m shares.

Of some note perhaps is the Kestrel and Mr Ari Charles Zaphiriou-Zarifi (Chair of Kestrel) holdings, combined this takes them just shy of 25.5%, pretty sure this would count as one party so edging towards takeover threshold unless I have missed something.

Ok Thanks keep meaning to sign up to twitter. I have free Level 2 somewhere with my broker too but do not use it Just use my tried and tested traders instinct. If it's not broken do not try and fix it

Tend to buy company's with strong balance sheets, nett cash most of the time, growing earnings, dividends etc " Rivaldo " type stocks Steer totally clear of AIM penny stocks and company's that do not make a profit. Seen that, done that, no thanks. 20 years experience now

Bit of both but pretty exceptional at what I do. I am very good at trading the swings, chart knowledge etc Each to there own but i do have 16 holdings at present too which is just enough. I am great stockpicker but have a habit of taking profits too early. Always buy big and topslice on the way up

To make money at this as a trader you have to be vv good - 98% lose money trading

I found the results a little underwhelming and was expecting a dividend closer to 3p. I went large at 120p and sold some in the mid 130's and the rest at 128 Still a huge fan and glad to see the selling drying up I have a fantasy share league with a friend and this was one of my 5 for the year

When you've been around the fun games a while - you realise if the results were good, it sometimes doesnt come through until a few weeks later. Relax chill, and remember these are the same PIs that sold SDI in the 40S. I was frustrated yesterday, but dont let the herd distract you from the long game here mate.

never had an issue on buy side

sell side has been locked up for weeks always NT - today you can sell large amounts - suggests maybe the MMs are filling a buy order down here

I have 15488, i can sell the lot in one go - which suggests now this is unlocked that the bigger selling is done - buyer is accumulating

I'm being offered 126.7 to sell - all today have been sells - but the mms appear happy to take them

finnCap note this week shows top 3 holders:

Kestrel Partners 22.1 Premier Miton Investors 17.5 Investec Wealth & Investment 9.0

This time last year they showed:

Premier Miton Investors 17.7 Kestrel Partners 16.7 Investec Wealth & Investment 8.9

The big exit was M&G which we knew about on 11/12. The 3 holdings RNSs since then (BGF. Cheverton, Kestrel) have all been increases so I do not understand your "big seller" theory.
