16/12/2020 15:53 | Another sea of red over at HE1 3rd day on a trot, tut, tut, | malc5
11/12/2020 21:12 | No I don't but that does preclude me from seeing how the industrial heartlands of the north have been abandoned by Corbynistas and the southern power base of middle class left wing "elites" more interested in ideology than the "people" they are paid to represent? That is why "we" voted to leave Europe because Corbyn did not represent this working class or emphasise to them the importance of Europe as he is (personally) anti European in the first place! I rejoiced when he won the labour leadership as I felt this would cement tory power for at least two terms even with Teresa May etc. I however did not realise his appointment would lead to the UK leaving Europe though!! | dunderheed
11/12/2020 18:16 | Guys Guys!! I've unearthed a gem of a share for you's Forget this one, and have a deek at Star Phoenix an internationally recognised O&G co, Although its producing no oil or gas at the moment, it's on the cusp of greatness, An O&G pipeline is on the cards and will be built from Trinidad to the international oil port of Wrexham, other major products in the never ending pipeline include a pre-school business in one of the top 20 most populated countries on the planet(China)..dont be surprised if it branches into the pharmaceutical industry, not to mention a guest house in the tourist resort of puntland. A dividend is expected. Ffs if that's not enough they run a franchise cricket team THE TRINIDAD OILERS | 1manos
11/12/2020 11:07 | Mate you know when you're beaten - and that's a good thing buddy - we can't all be right all the time, (like Range!). | dunderheed
10/12/2020 14:49 | SW - 73950 - when did I say he was a fool? I'm not sure he's a bloody genius and he certainly left the CPS in a mess. Also if that is your sum total of research into Kier - I think you need to go a little deeper and younger! This is my point - he's certainly no fool but equally he's an opportunist willing to do anything that will further his "cause" which could be Blairite or could be Corbynite as he avidly supported both of them?! Wtgr - 73949 - why was it the "wrong" decision - for many people the retention of sovereignty or whatever justification it maybe - will offset the potential minimum economic impact to the people who voted to "leave", ie those who ahve been abandoned my the metropolitan trendy left in the south. Following on from your point I think whoppy's view (73951) is equally as "strong" as yours - is it not - can you "disprove" what they are saying? | dunderheed
10/12/2020 14:41 | I think people were lied to back in the 70's when the UK joined the common market. | whoppy
10/12/2020 14:41 | Kier Starmer is a QC, and was Director of Public Prosecutions for five years. He's no fool. | skinwalker
10/12/2020 14:37 | No DH ! I fully understand that brexit was voted for, but it was the WRONG decision. The full implications of leaving were not understood (they still aren't) and anyway we were lied to, and most 'leavers' believed the lies. | skinwalker
10/12/2020 12:45 | Why wtf is happening with Aex for the next 6 months? Just block the people you dont want to read and job done?! | dunderheed
10/12/2020 12:44 | can we have this as an AEX board not a political soap box please | fortune cookie
10/12/2020 12:40 | Ah you're going to give me sleepless nights now sw. The problem with wemainers like you is that you cannot appreciate this was what was voted for. Me, I'd "probably" prefer to stay in Europe but do not ever want to foot the bill for the eventual decline of the euro (the pound will be bad enough) but whilst (partly) surprised, I accepted the decision of the uk electorate and moved on. People like yourself feel that, (whilst I think) you appreciate the will of the people, you know better. Perhaps you just may be wrong? Perhaps people from less privileged backgrounds than you, have differing outlooks on life and what is "important" to them? Starmer has a lot of people conned, he plays the Blairite card but wait and see when he gets some power and he'll do anything to get it. Bending the knee for the marxist BLM movement, when he REALLY should know better, after all he's not an under educated thick (overpaid) footballer. (Unless of course that fits his "agenda", so as to appeal to that "demographic", lol). | dunderheed
10/12/2020 12:22 | I'm adding you both to my 'plonkers list'. | skinwalker
10/12/2020 12:16 | With the current Labour leader voting procedure he couldn't be any thing but a confirmed communist. Labour didn't learn the first time with Miliband that the electorate don't want left wingers so what did the idiots do but elect an even more left winger in the form of Corbyn, rinse and repeat. Only Johnsons dire performance gives labour any sort of lifeline, he's trashed the economy, urged on in no small part by Starmer hoping to reap the benefits. Failure on Brexit and its checkmate, communist or not. | fireplace22
10/12/2020 12:02 | Sw do a bit of research on him. He comes across as a nice middle of the road lefty but actually he is very very close to the Corbyn ideals just not his methods of bullying etc. Actually a lot worse with an insidious strategy of clawing power. | dunderheed
10/12/2020 11:27 | In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if UWE is actually foreign secretary ! | skinwalker
10/12/2020 11:24 | Un-electable tory party? Another nice idea Fireplace! Starmer is no marxist DH, and he's slowly but surely getting shot of them. I don't believe any government could possibly be worse than the current bunch of falsehood-peddling numbskull idiots. | skinwalker
10/12/2020 10:53 | The Tories got in on strong pro Brexit support from many labour supporters, that will find its way back home even with a stuffed rabbit standing as leader. Johnson better pull off a total unconditional divorce from the EU or we're sunk. | fireplace22
10/12/2020 10:21 | ..and it will see the Tory Party become unelectable. | fireplace22
10/12/2020 10:18 | Nice idea Fireplace! We'll soon see. | skinwalker
10/12/2020 10:05 | Johnson just jumped on the bandwagon of anti eu feeling and as a result was elected PM. I doubt whether he'll give a conclusive Brexit, we'll remain tied to the Brussels apron strings, maybe in some tentative way but it will be enough for a future Govt to re-enter with ease. That's the plan, the establishment will be appeased. | fireplace22
10/12/2020 09:53 | this is what happens when the idiot son of an idiot son becomes Prime Minister | skinwalker
10/12/2020 08:22 | Well said Blackgold. UK will do very well in free market | rangenoresources |
