i think the Tanzy Guv/TPDC can move things on quickly if the farm-out is as they want it, which i believe from their perspective they couldn't have it any better. i can't see them holding things up.

Though of course, TPDC approval is also needed - though I'd imagine no one is expecting too much difficulty with that (though that doesn't mean it will happen quickly!)

Haggis, I asked JB at the TP investor evening whether the long lead items had been ordered. He gave a long-winded answer, but my takeaway was that yes they had been.

Coupled with (IIRC) the point he made about supportive IIs, (esp given how much the Zubs hold) I think we can take the EGM approval as a given and I think both parties are proceeding on the basis of that.

Some people seem to have lost the plot, so I'll give you a refresher.ARA will want to drill Chikumbi-1 this year, so they will need to organise the rig, workers, site offices, accommodation, supplies, etc, and have everything on-site in September or October. This means they will need the farm-out deal signed off ASAP, which means the signing deadline is going to be easily beaten.

well he might be sure, but what news would shift the sentiment. licence extension? i dont think so, as i think that is now a given. update on CH-1 well with rig contract, spud date and info on targets and potential size etc, now that might have an effect.

But, I assume they ARE currently producing because, it states on the website "Debt free gas producer"?!
Can someone confirm are they actually producing currently please?

I have no idea what CP is up to but let me be clear if I say I am looking to sell then I am matey! I'm pretty straight up with what I post on free bbs because I firmly believe they have f all to do with the share price irl!!

69090 actually don't agree the govt naturally have much more confidence in the Zubs and they will actually start to need the gas on the time lines to get the EPS up and running so will probably go through relatively quickly.
The problem is that the AEX mgt have constantly 'sold / justified' their positions on their excellent govt relationships etc - ahem such naivety lol by both them and the shareholders so a bit of reality and correction going on with regard to mkt capitalisation and 'look-aheads'!!
All imho and 'orf out now so don't take non replies as rudeness!!
