No problem. I don't take any offence. My attitude can vary wildly based on what I read, and sometimes I'm sure I come across as brash and rude.

See my posts on PRSM as evidence of what I can be capable of when there is good discussion!

I apologise for the last part of the second paragragh - upon cooler reflection I should not have written that.

Some time ago you were honest enough to explain how you came by your name and for once showed an iota of humility but alas you have reverted to the bully-boy that you so obviously are and probably have been from your very early days.

Insecure and incapable of giving anything positive - I pity your kids if you have any.

Seems I have a loony stalker following me and voting all my posts down. They must be REALLY thick to not understand that people take no notice of votes on posts, the votes are viewed by most people as a 'thank you for posting this' rather than a ratings game. I don't give a toss about down votes, I just take a very tiny bit of satisfaction from the up votes, as it shows I am doing something right and other people appreciate it.

Blackgold, if as advised by posters on LSE BB that the drilling is already planned for July, I think SOLO will be squeezed by any farm in partners. I can't imagine NR as someone who would sell the family silver for buttons, so I think they will end up doing a placing in the next few weeks.

the thing is haggis, the clock is ticking as the drilling program moves forward so solo will be under increasing pressure to act, to either farm out or raise funds. i don't think news/deal is that far away.

SOLO might get screwed on value by a farm in partner, as any prospective partner would see that SOLO needs cash to fund N3. Also, if as suggested, SOLO want a free carry, they will get screwed on value on that too. I can't see SOLO accepting the low-ball offers and will instead raise funds for N3, with a view to farming out after N3 whilst hoping they find the oil they believe is there.

i wonder what's going to happen with Solo's 25% of Ruvuma? it needs funding. lots going on behind the scenes with Aminex / Zubair / TPDC and maybe a new farm-in partner ?

Been a fair bit of press around the Chinese Belt and Road initiative to finance various projects globally for a modern silk road. There's a good image of this here - hxxps://media.licdn.com/mpr/mpr/AAEAAQAAAAAAAAgtAAAAJGYxMDc1NTgyLTIzYzctNDgxZS1hNmY4LTc0NDM4NTNjMDcwZA.jpg

It incorrectly lists the mtwara-dar pipeline as oil but it also has a proposed railroad going out to Njombe. Looking at the 2016-2045 gas utilisation masterplan looks like there is a the phase 1 proposed gas pipeline from to Njombe. This goes from Mtwara, cuts right through Ruvuma (this is where the majority of the pipeline will be located) and then into Njombe. Page 41 here shows this - hxxps://mem.go.tz/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/21.09.2016NGUMP-DRAFT-FINAL-REPORT-May-2016-CLEAN.pdf

Very interesting.

Since the maximum you could lose from rounding down would be less than £1 at current prices I doubt anyone would think it worth bothering with the costs of the trade!

I only see ARGO selling a tiny amount in order to end up with a round number post consolidation, with no odd number of shares lost in the process.

I think the fears over Argo have been well overdone . It's positive that they are exercising the warrants which brings mor cash into AEX . There is no indication that they are going to sell. Most informed investors regard the true and potential value of AEX far above the current share price . Even if they do decide to sell they are not going to smash the share price it's not in their interest. They could sell n relatively modest amounts over a period of time , thus keeping the share price steady . This would not be a problem as AEX is a very liquid share .
