13/5/2017 07:37 | I starting reading that and thought haggis was going to say something sensible, like there isn't enough liquidity in micro caps. Instead is reads as a subtle ramp that, when a penny share is "rerating", it can go higher than ever before. 5p, 10p, 50p! Soon enough this won't be a penny share. Not a good thing IMO. Psychologically retail investors looking in oil and gas like penny shares, as flawed a mentality as that may be. | dan_the_epic
13/5/2017 07:10 | Charts are pointless on penny shares that are rerating, you can't go on history to predict where the market thinks a fair MCap should be. | haggismchaggis

12/5/2017 20:51 | Apologies but this is funny. A classic from temmujin on the Solo bb this afternoon: "in theory solo should go up as fast as it came down from a chart perspective...studie | kevjones2
12/5/2017 20:34 | Did you not hear a rumour from your city friends about it, temmujin? Alternatively, read an RNS or two. | kevjones2
12/5/2017 20:18 | whens the AGM? | temmujin
12/5/2017 20:00 | I'm hoping for pipeline starting this year, next latest. Nt-3 is targeting oil and gas after the Nt-2 pinchout fed from what I reckon to be the lower sands. Maybe the AGM will ease some uncertainty?! | foolsandcows
12/5/2017 19:54 | For sure the TPDC will commit to the spur, installed as soon as they can get the pipeline delivered and a Chinese crew to install it, say 2018 June for the dry weather just starting, ground not too hard or too soft.N3 might be oil and gas, but it'll mostly be to look for the oil, with the gas as a covering option, so being that it's predominantly to target the oil, it needs to be done as an exploration well under the exploration license, it can't be done as a development well if it's predominantly targeting oil, as they have none to develop yet. | haggismchaggis
12/5/2017 19:45 | Very interesting.. I think a spur pipeline to Ntorya will be in place in 2018 and that has to be the prerequisite commitment required for the 25yr licence before more money is ploughed into a relatively stranded location. Nt-3 is clearly going to be targeting oil and gas. Solo oil has or will be farming down Ntorya. | foolsandcows
12/5/2017 19:16 | So we are 'keen' to follow up on the black oil, but we already guessed that from Jay's video. I said a few weeks ago that the required exploration drills past N3 would be deferred by TPDC, as we have more than enough gas for now, NR confirms this. So dilution for the extra exploration wells is not going to happen after the consolidation, Unlikely to be any requirement for additional production wells in the short term either, so pretty much no fund raising required short term. Loan paid off soon, then the cash from Kiliwani will be paying for operations and adding to our cash pile. Nice to see it confirmed that N2 is expected to flow in production at 51-68mmcfd. All we need from Jay is a good plan to get trucked CNG and maybe gas to power installed in the short term, and another rerating stage is on. | haggismchaggis
12/5/2017 18:47 | From LSE BB. TarryBreeks 827 posts NR PRESENTS Thanks Sambo. Salient points: 13:40 "Over the next few months we will be delivering a 25 year development license and development plan" - "Looking very closely at EPS" - "Opportunity to take early revenue" - "Issuing formal CPR" - "Anticipate farming down our (SOLOs) interest to pay for development" 15:09 "And there are some liquids here, we've found condensate, we need to go back and properly analyse that, there is also evidence of black oil which the operator is very keen to follow up on" 16:15 "We are paid, paid in US dollars and are currently the only company along with partners being paid in US dollars for our gas in Tanzania ... we are providing this gas at the well head and we have no exposure to the costs of building or operating the transport network and represents a reasonable net back." Nice ;) TarryBreeks 827 posts NR PRESENTS Very interesting question at 25 minutes about the exploration license for Ruvuma coming up for expiry and potentially surrendering the exploration element. I won't quote the full response but NR says that exploration for gas is likely to be deferred due to local demand and that the TPDC are flexible. "I'm sure we'll commit to further appraisal, that is what they and we are aligned to do at this point. Ultimately there will need to be further exploration because it's high value exploration but until you've commercialised the gas you've already found there isn't a great deal of need to further explore for gas and so we'll work with the Tanzanians to defer those commitments". I think that suggests we'll be parking Namisange and Sudi for now - certainly with respect to gas. He also makes a few comments on the share price drop after release of the NT2 results, he also says in relation to NT2 28:00 "that well can produce 3-4 times the rate that it did on test and we will do that in due course". Flow rates for NT2 were 17 mcfd / 2833 boed so he's suggesting they expect it will flow at 51-68 mcfd / 8499-11332 boed which is pretty darn good IMO. Watch it yourself: | haggismchaggis

12/5/2017 13:47 | Haggis has a particular taste in music, his favourite song is 'Another One Bites the Dust' He sings it every time he filters someone, probably 3 times per day. What a drama Queen. The one he should be singing for NT-3 has the lyrics 'Jumping jack flash it's all gas, gas, gas' | ngms27
