888, all good points. Sadly, it's also dropped back again after those rises. I agree that a case can be made that we are in, or close to, a different, and more positive position now. But until there is real hard news on the pipeline and actual production, another pull back is on the cards. But, as you say, once things begin to move forward in a clear way, this could move fast the other way.

This is starting to attract attention again. Just to remind investors what happens when the market starts to anticipate good news, look at the chart above. Last April it went vertical from 0.8 to 1.2. Last May it went from 1.2 to just over 2p in a matter of weeks. AEX has just moved above 1.2 with todays 7.6% rise following yesterdays 15% rise. Looking promising.

Meanwhile AEX is now Up 15% and number 5 on the leaderboard. Highest price paid today in a recent trade is 1.194p.

AEX up 12.5% and Number 7 on the Leaderboard as a late reported £39000 Buy of 3.4 million shares at 1.14p appears. This takes the volume so far to 5.5 million. It’s time for news here particularly because Tanzania is about to auction 26 oil and gas licenses. It is difficult to imagine anyone being interested if they can’t see AEX’s projects progressing to production.
