Surprised with the share price Though we’d get a bounce after Easter, new week, new financial year etc. I think there is a lot of negativity around the customer vote, but you have to remind yourself the scheme was created by Amigo. It has been designed specifically to ensure the business can continue operations and whilst it meets all the criteria of being ‘fair’ it is heavily weighted in Amigos favour. It allows all customers to vote (past and present) and the weighting of the vote based on money owed. Basically customer with no issues, loans paid in full get a letter stating they may have been mis-sold and could be owed compensation. All they have to do is vote yes, make a claim and potentially get a wad of free cash (who is this scenario would not vote yes?) and these customers carry the biggest vote as they will have the largest claim due to the years of interested accrued. I appreciated some more recent or current customers may vote no out of some bizarre belief they will get paid more if they do, but their vote carries less weight so will it matter? Just my opinion of course and would be interested on others views but that’s how I see it. I thought about it a lot over the last few days and I can’t (in my head) find another outcome.

Debt camel suggesting that administration doesn't necessarily mean zero compensation and may be best option!

Happ Easter all. I think bod are in closed period.....they ought to get voting updates in real time. Also, given controversy around LTIP conversion, they are unlikely to give critics more ammunition even if not in closed period.....

The point i am making is not whether a soa is the same as a shareholder vote, but rather about getting something or nothing, so there it was, a hedge fund chose nothing instead of getting something.

Totally different business....and it was a shareholder vote not an SoA. Amgo has given lots of people chance to claim whose loans were paid off ages ago...get something for nothing...

The way i see it is that the vote is a binary situation, it may seem straightforward that getting something is better than nothing but think again, following this logic some people here would be hard pressed explaining why risk permanent loss of capital in the hope of a multi bagger? 75% is a high threshhold and as such the outcome is anything but guaranteed, i read a few days ago here that unlike professional investors who know their interests, a lot of the borrowers are simply financially illiterate, well i beg to differ, read this article about what happened to interserve over 2 years ago and think again if you reckon the yes vote is a mere formality.

Didn't know if the voting period has any blockers on Director activity.... It would be very interesting to see Gary or any of the team making purchases as we approach May...

Morning bud, it's pretty sad isn't it! I've filtered so doesn't show up for me, only way to ban would be for BB moderator to block from posting...Ignore the them, total waste of space but you should look at what some of these say at SYME... Pretty sure this is Hodhasharon as clearly he holds many accounts!
