Fair points these, realistically I'd like to see severalq institutional firms invest into Amigo, never ideal the majority of book made up of PI's. End of day of course the risk is present, hence why knowing the stock is always critical and doing research and then you make informed decisions to invest or not. Every PI is different and has different reasons for investing.... In case here knowing the facts we have about Amigo, are there big enough red flags that would stop me from holding 1.8m shares, No.  With the data we have at hand today do I think Amigo will go bust anytime soon...No way. Do i think they could go bust in longer (18months) period, yes possible. This just needs some solid and good news and price will pickup, there really isnt much more known bad news to come in now, obv unless Glen starts selling his pot from next week.Ive been in and around advfn forums on off for 12 years and honestly current core posters below all sound decent and not ramping and talking very logical sense. Some really sensible posting on this forum this week and today some really balanced views, Brockys points were very fairly placed. End of day we are all playing in the stock market, not fruit machines so always risks and these types of stocks do have risk no doubt about it. No reward without risks...

I’ve invested more than planned certainly but just think that unless Amigo goes bust then there can only be significant upside to this share price.

I’ve been invested in a couple of companies before whose share price has been down to pennies but the underlying business was strong and the share price rose significantly again, and this has a similar feel to it. I’m very much an amateur investor though!

Could go horribly wrong for me of course, but that’s the gamble of investing huh! Even a bit of bad news leading to a drop doesn’t concern me too much as I am here for the medium term as GrossT suggests.

Still high risk here Brock until we hear some positive news you must feel very confident as i only have a 5th of your holding, would like to see institutions buying in next 3-4 weeks make me feel bit more comfortable.

nice thoughts well put. I can't help thinking this price or around this price is a really hammered down price. If any bit of the expected news is good then the share price will rise. Several bits of good news and hang onto your hats. If any bit of news is not so good what's going to happen? A few pence off the SP? I know that will make a difference to you Brocksy because of your stated holding but you're willing to wait at least medium term I would have thought. This is a play with some downside risk and huge upside potential.

Have a good weekend all.

I don't like to project share price levels but Amigo is an interesting one.

We are in the doldrums now as we have a business that has been ravaged by boardroom battles, is not currently taking on new lending, is under review by the FCA and is receiving a significant number of complaints.

So, if over the next 3 months say, all of the above issues are resolved (hopefully boardroom fights have been already) where should the share price sit based on the fundamentals of the business?

At summer 2019 levels of £1.50 or maybe Feb 2020 levels of around 50p? i.e. What price was the "correct" level based on the business fundamentals? Certainly won't be where we are currently.

I've seen some SP's rise 5-fold in a day on good news in these covid times, is this a possibility for Amigo - why not if the fundamentals price is £1.50?

Apologies for rambling, like I say this is an interesting one.....plus I'm up to 2.65m shares now so I have a vested interest! lol

Video really makes you understand more about where the money goes, and how the country's go bankrupt if the balance isn't correct.

Didn't read it all, had a quick glance, looks decent info.Yes of course will be many many risks, but for every risk comes opportunity. The entire world economy is going to struggle for some years to come out of this mess, but circle of life means funding for a growing UK population is critical stage in the growth of economic cycle. Will be interesting to see what measures Government annouce soon but the banking system will only proper in the medium run and the UK economy absolulety needs firms like Amigo playing the role as lenders. Key in this stock is slow and steady, some of the regular chaps on this forum have called it spot on, stay cool and calm and you will be rewarded no doubt about it from this stock.

Haha :)Actually most of the decent credit card BT and transfer to bank offers not available right now. This will force ppl to use overdrafts, most consumer overdraft is 1k / 2 k and silly interest using these and credit card spends so what better then a loan.... opens door lovely for Amigo :)Ps, I am not Amigo employee marketing them, just a shareholder itching to make ALOT of money, lol
