Having had reason to have a quick look back at the last couple of RNSs, it did strike me that, just for once, despite the weather, there had been no further time slippage between May (expecting construction completion in June) and June, where we were given the more details of what is actually happening on specific dates in June, on installing cellar pipes and then mobilisation.

As for the mobilisation of the D10 rig, they have done that so many times already with this particular rig that they must have got the whole procedure down to a fine art by now.

No comment by anyone as to why they are preparing all 3 cellars with conductor pipes?

Exhaustion...No more low ball sellers, hey?
Now MMs have to put the ball higher to collect...

LADYSIDE: Bravo! You are the best among us. Anything else you'd like to brag about? Or is it the only share you've ever bought?
A new car perhaps? New wife? A swimming? Clap, clap, clap!!!
Walter Mitty in full swing, lol.

Good luck ML, it's good to see lots of the old faces / names back in here.

None of us ever thought we would see these levels again but there's surely money to be made here with pretty minimal risk, unlike when we were piling in under 3p !!

15.36p on the BID and 15.58p on the ask. No AT trade yet. As one would say, it bodes well (oil well of course)...Volume miserable...

given the non existent volume, of the last few sessions
no conclusions can be drawn from the share price movement.

Oil Prices Rise on Declining U.S. Supplies, Attacks on Libyan Ports

Oil prices firmed on Wednesday, supported by data showing a large decline in U.S. oil inventories, a rebel attack in Libya and expectations that international oil producers meeting this week may decide to only boost production moderately.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate futures were trading up 1.8%, at $66.06 a barrel. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, was up 0.5% on the day, at $75.45 a barrel, on London's Intercontinental Exchange.

The Energy Information Administration said Wednesday that U.S. stockpiles of crude oil fell by 5.9 million barrels last week, compared with analysts' expectations for a 2.5 million-barrel decline. That puts total U.S. commercial crude oil stockpiles at 427 million barrels, the lowest level since March.

I wouldn't ask for investment advice from this forum you bozo. It was rhetorical pure and simple. I'm staying put, better or worse and the sooner you move on we can all take a rest from the Rex Harbour paranoia show.

foiled, you're such an idiot. RH has not been a factor for many months and yet that's all you talk about. It's like you only have one thread and that's it.Here's my take on the current share price swoon and it has nothing to do with TH. Some investors lack patience, others don't. Only time will tell who is right

in 2006 this share price was first seen. without selling and buying - just holding - long termers would be at opportunistic loss LADE. after 12 years !!!!!

you are using derogative terms first (cretein)
you are complaining (BB posts quality)
you are boasting (about profits made)
you did not quality contribute lately

you are the real deal like my friend lucy lol

Ace, quite frankly I couldn't care less whether you or anyone else believes / doesn't believe my posts. Some of us here know each other, some of us here don't. I have nothing to gain by lying and my earlier post was in response to some cretin stating that all long termers were under water here, which of course couldn't be further from the truth. I am far from a "super" trader or investor and have lost lots of cash in many companies both blue chips and in the AIM casino, however the fact remains that Amerisur has been very good to me and I'm sure good to most here........

Meanwhile, I have read again the presentation of May.

Okay some things are running later that initially expected, but the potential of AMER's significant holdings, that they are looking to increase Platanillo reserves, to acquire new assets and the high quality of the forthcoming drilling programme does look pretty damn good. AMER is far from a dead duck...

Ladeside comparing the share price then and now is not apples for apples as I'm sure you're well aware!

As to claims of making £100K …. really - frankly a ridiculous and unprovable bulletin board claim and I feel fairly sure you wouldn't want to lumped in with Ben ;-)

I think RH was very important when as a major shareholder (140Mish?) in tune with board members, he then proceeded to sell off his holding at a slow but steady rate. That both depressed the market for Amer and I think unsettled the Board for quite a while, not to mention other investors sentiment.
Yes his importance and ability to create mischief is increasingly waning as each batch of shares is sold, but I feel the situation since he opted to act as he did cannot be dismissed lightly.

When he's gone, this share will feel the benefit and I for one will be pleased for the whole saga to be consigned to history.

For those who really want to know more about this company, you could do a lot worse than read through some of the early posts on the old "new dawn" thread started by Steelwatch.

You'll find lots of really good and informative posts from guys such as Hugomaracaya, moneylender, westmorelandlad, Bigbas, Bigwavedave, thedarkhorse, donaferentes, marnewton, Ivanburgess, trotting12, the sadly departed Val, and quite a few more.
