On paper this does look a totally ridiculous price, however as always the PI is the last to know what's going on, as such that makes me just a little concerned that all is not as it should be here.....

Do you think 170 odd million is way too much for a company with producing assets, a fully paid for pipeline no debt and a 30% share of a field that I'm pretty sure everyone agrees has good potential?

Historically Amerisur have issued RNS's on a Thursday. Last years reserve and resources update 23rd Mar 2017.....this thursday 22nd Mar 2018.....could be just one trading day to load up......should be positive news

Good for you. Reserves update have rarely ignited the share price in previous years. Like you Im also an investor here. But I am also a realist as well. We all want to see a much higher share price. In my opinion that wont happen here until we are taken over. Current Mangement are happy to just jog along at a snails pace. One day the true value wil be reflected in the share price. The Market is telling us that the current Management are not the ones to add shareholder value. We may crawl back to 20p over the next few months but like you we want to see a much higher share price than !

Lucy - Maybe crazy to you but thats what the Market values the shares at. We all know the share price is undervalued but the share price is on a downward spiral due to the continual selling. By Friday we could be below15p and a great price to add to ones holding

Roll-over day on the spreads always seems to knock us a little further down the road.

Nice rise on WTI guys...bodes well for amer!! This year has been around the $60s all year so far....net back around $45 a barrel to amer = huge profits this year if it holds or goes higher. I for one am buying more each week. Good luck all and believe in your investment

All the signals are currently bearish which might be bad except that RH isn't rushing for the exit, he's just keeping his foot in the Tube door and stopping it opening or closing too much.
So the train is in the station but going nowhere much very soon.

mangagement should concentrate on good work for the Co.

but saying - I do not care about share price is bellow level - as share price is the only way current shareholders can realise value

looking at the share price should be in the perfect mix.weighting can be discussed. When share price gets 6 sigma out of the order management should react in the professional way. communication, on field action, buyback to increase value of the Co and the shareholders value by higher share price ....

only unept manager does not look at the share price (mirror of his action +/-) and even say so in public. in a translatation one could say - I do not care about you, you stup.d shareholder. all a shareholder has is SP!

manager should look after his shareholder and his ultimate interest (SP) as a shareholder is giving him bread

if a shareholder is ok with low share price - than it is ok. and if there is one who is ok with the low share price - I will buy in the out of the market transaction

@Odvod,

I'd prefer he was too busy managing the company and progressing key projects than keeping a watching eye on the share price.

Share price will sort out itself in good time IF decent progress continues to be made corporate side.

Assuming no "10y UST 3% threshold crossing" induced meltdown of course.
