07/12/2017 10:49 | Al, hehe, it made sense to me, as in take out a short, then “leave us alone” etc.... It only partially worked by the look of it | 99barracuda
07/12/2017 10:33 | Whilst many will find Giles Clarke obnoxious, he clearly does have experience and contacts. The strategy over the last few years, in the face of the downturn in the POO, to acquire significant acreage cannot be faulted: that is part of building an entity which is attractive to major players in the market: it is rolling out the majestic wine/pet city model. The IIs on the register are hardly going to be contacts of JW, a CEO who spends his time away from the city, hands on in Colombia, apparently. The likes of Michinoko are sitting there in the expectation that this will be sold: there is no other way that they can dispose of such a shareholding at value and it will be GC's track record on delivering which will give them comfort. To some extent it is "when" rather than "if" and the intriguing question is whether the current market cap makes a sale more rather than less likely. Probably the cake still needs a bit more icing: they need to get this next phase of Plat into shape, to demonstrate the roll out potential (and perhaps the third field?). | charlieeee
07/12/2017 10:31 | Looks like this might be another of those good higher volume days :-) | aceuk
07/12/2017 10:28 | You guys are using Rex to deflect away from the possibility that the market cap for this company is just too high. Self delusion is rife across all boards here. | dodge city
07/12/2017 10:26 | What proof have you that "Rex" is still selling, and if he is, will he continue all the way down to 5p. | dodge city
07/12/2017 10:26 | Maybe we should just sell the lot and stick it all into bitcoin............ | ladeside
07/12/2017 10:18 | When Rex stops selling here to bail out mintail,we will fly ,,,,everybody knows what's happening and the market is taking Rex's trousers down as a forced seller ,,,,we should do the same and buy with cash ( I am ) | trotting12
07/12/2017 09:37 | 99barracuda, I think you might want to check the grammar of your last post, I'm not sure it says what you intended it to say ;-) Made me laugh. | al101uk
07/12/2017 09:33 | Well, when trading wholly overwhelms fundamentals, the tail really is wagging the dog (a somewhat unfortunate expression given the animal's other connotations and the repeated use of it by the Saratov shorting gang). That this drop can occur so shortly after the confirmation of CPO-5 on LTT and contributing to the coffers, a discovery significant enough to be announced by the Indian national oil company, must redefine market insanity. So, what should we expect if Plat 27 comes in with a cracking result at the beginning of next week? | charlieeee
07/12/2017 09:31 | Boris/dodge....pleas | 99barracuda
07/12/2017 08:37 | Boris , you have it in one , the market is skidish , take 20% and cash up , its the only way to play it presently. | jotoha2
07/12/2017 08:33 | 10p a share gives a market cap of 120mill, very reasonable for a company not reporting a profit and a great base to start building value. | dodge city
07/12/2017 08:16 | That'll be it then.... My interest here is to trade it. I'm not about to buy in when so many indicators are pointing south and especially with a major seller lurking. 10p or thereabouts as a capitulation point is quite possible in fact i'd say more than 50/50. | boris cobaka
07/12/2017 08:02 | The reality is that markets are due a correction , oilers will not be immune from this , 40% downside is on the cards , so holding long for a recovery here is not the best plan. | jotoha2
07/12/2017 07:59 | Boris Can you get Dodge City to accompany you please?? | eddie_yates
07/12/2017 07:51 | Agreed Chopper. If you don't own the shares Boris do everyone a favour here and take your one sided negativity elsewhere no one is interested in your ramblings and you are becoming tedious and very boring. | juuunx2
07/12/2017 06:44 | 10p ????!!!!. Now you really are having a laugh. What's your game other than to play on the frustrations of genuine shareholders who are becoming increasingly baffled by the share price movement? | chopper harris1
07/12/2017 04:54 | Well there's a good chance we should see a bit of a bounce today - the share price closed well outside the lower band and the corresponding volume wasn't great. It should be interesting to watch as it may well give a pointer as to whether there's more downside to come. Some indicators on the daily are not showing as oversold just yet and taking that with the Rex debacle it's quite possibly a dcb will form which RH will use to sell into a best he can. Personally i'd prefer to see this farce over and done with which if it means a breakdown to 10p as Rex coughs up his leftovers then so be it. Getting a little more interesting now though. Thought we might have heard from Marne - he's last purchase must be a tad underwater now. Can't believe he didn't see this unfolding. One of the most obvious retraces I've ever seen. Gl. | boris cobaka
06/12/2017 19:40 | And, looking at their track record of late that's no bad thing. | lucyp00p
06/12/2017 19:39 | Directors didn't exactly go big | lucyp00p
06/12/2017 19:02 | If directors had not purchased big I would be worried. | kaos3
06/12/2017 19:00 | If this goes to 15p I’ll be that mug. | davwal
06/12/2017 18:51 | Bigger fish want our shares that's all. Sit tight and relax. Fundamentals have not changed. Seen this done with many shares. | juuunx2
06/12/2017 18:17 | Well it's not all bad news. At least the gap has closed.... | boris cobaka |
