Agreed, Giles Clark has taken millions from Amer and has not delivered, time for a new leader, someone that doesnt have his dirty fingers in lots of pies milking them. Can we band together to force a vote of no confidence?

Even good news has nil effect on the share price these days. GC has presided over the company with a recent 40%drop. I personally have little confidence in his leadership and think his attention lies elsewhere with KENV and IRON. He needs to go!!

Mariposa-1: The natural controlled flow rate recorded was approximately 4,601 barrels of oil per day of 40.8 degree API oil with a water cut of 0.35% and 348psi flowing wellhead pressure over a 40/64" choke and indicated strong further production potential. (30% owned by Amer).

3. RODA upgrades and equipment maintenance in Ecuador which will be completed Aug17
4. Production going from 6075 to close to 7k treatment of existing wells and new production from plantillo. 07Sep17
5. Pad 5 to pad9 interconnection completed Aug17
6. Go ahead from the Colombian authorities in respect of the acquisitions RNSd in March. They said it could take 120 days to get approval. Aug17 prob sep17
7. Reserves uplift mmbo? sep17-nov17
8. ONGC buyout of Amer ? Sep to nov17?? ( Oil and Natural Gas Corp, plans to invest $150 million in exploration this fiscal year to drill more wells in Colombia, where it just made a commercial discovery, as well as in Kazakhstan and Bangladesh).

No debt, FCF and Capex of $65m for 2017 and 2018(16 wells), cash in hand = $42m as at dec16 with revenue of $47m fy2016 average prod was 3086bopd with 38.42pb

I expect ( and hope) news in the next 14 days covering some of these items !

FoiledAgain the only conclusion I've ever really come to is whilst Giles Clarke may be hard work, etc. we don't have a lot of choice but toaccept the machinations of what he does or not invest in companies where he is a person in control!

The gap appears to be between the shareholders responsibility and the companies responsibility. The Shareholder may not have to declare to the company, but there may or may not be an obligation on the company to declare shareholders accurately in which case there are legitimate means of obtaining that information.

The actual FSA guidance (where I started), is just horrendous to disentangle. So my view is that I don't care.

Either:

The MM's are dropping the price at a quiet time of year to see where support is and where they can attract some volume. That would support the low volume theories, it would also mean we're probably closer to the end than the beginning.

RH is selling his shares, although it seems clear that this is not on insider info given the timeline. This does raise the question in my mind of who he is selling too and why other positions aren't changing in response to his selling.

Either way, nothing I can do about it except join everyone else and wait it out. I can't even get wound up about the potential for corporate governance issues as we all know Amerisur can't do corporate governance anyway.

That's why it suggests he has a transaction that is not settled, which would allow him to notify after settlement.

That's also why institutions that bought some of the shares had to notify because their purchase was fully settled and required notification.
