I think the company believes spending £3k on an empty hotel to keep shareholders away from the bod is worth the money. But it's our money, can this expense be justified?

Here's hoping for some decent AMG news to make this an exciting hold once more instead of this protracted treading water business.

I see we are back to 9-10 wells to be drilled in the next 18 months in the presentation.. it is groundhog day .. that is what they said last in 4q2016, it is not good enough to keep failing to deliver and extend the timelines .. ( and not engage with better comms with shareholders).

Confidence is lower once again and the share price is doing worst than before we had the OBA pipeline! (And POO is higher as well)

So, the shambolic St Mellons Hotel remains fully booked. First time that has happened so soon, as far as I can remember.

Lenin Moreno first act as new Pesident is to bring all the reps of Indigenous tribes to a meeting in Quito, emphasising they have a part to play in the future planning for country. How significant is that in regard to Amerisur's plans in VHR/OBA aea?

Looking for the resolution for collective hanging of heads in shame and returning of outrageous bonus allocation pursuant to successful OBA operation but I can't find it anywhere. Disappointed that the option to mop up any surplus Rexit shares already exists but is not considered worth acting on even at 20pps.

Ask them what Lenin Moreno new prsident of Ecuador has to say about Amerisur acquiring new block(s) crossriver from putumayo and general attitude to oba/Rosa input. 2019 for full flow is a long ways off imo. Is it down to new government in Quito?

Lucyp00p -- regarding the date for the AGM, it is a legal requirement to give notice of a AGM to shareholders of a public company. AT LEAST 21 days’ written notice is required.

Would someone correct me if I'm wrong ?

88E spudding the Icewine #2 well in 10 to 15 days time. Could go from just under 3p to over 4p on spud and multiples thereafter.

So who's volunteering to contact the company pre-AGM then? I've had no joy on that front.

Didn't someone have a Bat Phone?

The difficulty with planning all these questions is that, on past form, the Chairman will close the Meeting with a dismissive wave of the back of his hand because "we have to meet Investors in London this afternoon". Contemptuously ignoring that everyone in the room at an AGM is either an Investor or one of their own pals - oops! I mean Corporate Advisers.

Although 'meeting fatigue' usually occurs by 50 - 60 minutes, that may not be sufficient time for the normal business, the voting (of which we are not told of the voting figures, only later learning the 'outcome'), the presentations and the increasing numbers of valid questions Investors are seeking to have raised.

Perhaps representations should be made to the Company well in advance to ensure the BoD allocate enough time to allow all questions to be put to them and preferably be answered there and then, instead of preferring to rush off to more comfortable surroundings in London, leaving the disgruntled PIs to enjoy a small packet of shortcake biscuits while the hotel staff clear the room.

Francis,

That one has been explained already by people far more technical than me on here, basically if the infrastructure is designed for vast quantities of oil and you send down a trickle it's not efficient, so the cost is increased.

I assume 5K was planned, the project costing was probably based on it and the targeted savings at that level were the ones that were made public.

Mine is why we only get opex savings starting at 5kbopd via OBA - who owns the OBA?

Why have we stopped trucking oil?

My question would be if you only plan to ship 7k bpd what was the point of redesigning the OBA and losing 2 years of development, masses of goodwill and a ton of other people's money?
