16/2/2017 09:41 | So difficult to obtain stock and almost impossible to build a really decent holding. Unless of course you buy the dips. Total share in issue: 32,653,843 Top 4 shareholders own 80.76%: 26,371,243 So only 6,282,600 shares available when the rig delivery RNS is issued. Just imagine what would happen if our JV obtained another rig or vessel order? | howdlep
15/2/2017 14:20 | DTC, Yangzijiang obviously want us for our rig expertise and world wide contacts. However, with our JV yard already receiving overspill work, today's news can only be good. That combined with increased commodity trading for MGR Resources, due to the commodity price boom and our recent 2.5% copper investment in Iran (with an option for a further 5%), should ensure a very exciting year ahead. Now if we were to announce another rig order... | howdlep
15/2/2017 14:06 | Well, they've relented somewhat now; 25.70p has jumped to now | davethechef
15/2/2017 14:02 | MM's shutting up shop now! Can buy F@@k all now! Maybe thecontinuing demise of new orders, our offshore yard apart from picking up more 'overspill work' as previously mentioned, but along with our JV partners Yangzijiang Shipbuilding; greater developments are being considered. Who knows! This year should get interesting | davethechef
15/2/2017 13:58 | heading back to 30p+ at this rate, cant buy small volumes | knicol46
15/2/2017 13:44 | Looking Good ! | chinese investor
15/2/2017 13:41 | this reached over 40p+ back in Dec interesting movement indicates something is happening | knicol46
15/2/2017 13:34 | knicol46, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding growing fast as bulker owner Yes very interesting given our yard JV | howdlep
15/2/2017 13:20 | sp +17% difficult to buy, worth a read.. hxxp://splash247.com | knicol46
15/2/2017 13:11 | News leak? rig sold? share price +17% difficult to buy, only 33m shares in issue | knicol46
10/2/2017 18:30 | At least MGR Resources should be doing well on continuing high copper prices(& iron ore)but as for the rig delivery delay, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...! | davethechef
02/2/2017 11:41 | Like I said, the big multi-billion £ shareholders, notably QIC, would probably not be in favour; however you get a feeling AMED are increasingly keen on being proactive, stepping up the efforts to increase their bank balance & invest in opportunities; re: their last two RNS's. As this report suggests, just maybe holding on further, the appetite for new high spec Rig's may about to return. I'm sure like us PI's, awaiting, seeking, another Rig & like, deal, has tested our patience. But oil prices very slowly are on the increase, and becoming once again, looking more attractive for costly offshore drilling. It'll be interesting to see how much our share of the rig sale is. hxxp://oilprice.com/ And we have the increased potential gaining in our MGR Resources, fortunately. | davethechef
02/2/2017 08:59 | Yes I agree with you re increasing their copper mine investment by a further 5%. This will be indicative also of increasing copper prices and MGR Resources performing well. However, I do not see AMED selling their 19% interest in the yard, as that is where our share price will grow by a considerable multiple. Indeed, there is no way our 61% shareholder, Qatar Investment Corporation, would agree to its sale. They are only interested in developing the asset and ensuring multiple returns, as the rig market picks up in 2017 and beyond. I will continue to accumulate on weakness. | howdlep
27/1/2017 10:04 | Not an attractive spread!!! 21p to sell, 24.40p to buy say 10K, but jumps to 24.98p if you want 15K say, so that in itself suggests, MM's trying to keep a tight reign. I see it as this, Rig sale next month or two, then with a return to a 'healthy bank balance' AMED increase their interest in the Copper Mine, by adding another 5%, as suggested in the last RNS. Seek other projects, opportunities, possibly to compliment their burgeoning MGR Resources potential, as their revenue stream is set to grow impressively with AMED's already last two input's(this month's RNS) and the increase in commodity prices(year-on-year) And it's possible, AMED will consider to sell their interest in their Offshore Yard(for the right price, and one suspects if no further Rig deal appears) However, it would be dependent on their main shareholders' approvals, and curtail their JV with YZJ, one suspects, which may not be agreed upon. | davethechef
23/1/2017 08:34 | Foreign investment in Iranian securities is increasing. I wonder whether AMED's investment in the copper mine will increase foreign interest in our company and/or help us secure additional rig orders? | howdlep
23/1/2017 07:54 | 100k delayed Buy, reported this morning, from Friday. Encouraging! | davethechef
21/1/2017 12:38 | I can't really tell how good the copper investment is. Does this provide Amed with profits and cashflow? If so at what rate relative to the capital? | yajnas01 |
