With oil prices 'having a stormer' I expect eventually a very good price for the sale of the high spec' rig. We should be updated in the Finals, due anytime from five weeks plus I anticipate.
Oil above $70 was also the threshold which new oil rig building was viable, as said by the chairman of YZJ, a year or so ago.

For the year ending 31/12/16, the following director earnings were:-

Glen Lau (US$84k plus share based payments of US$111k
Zafarullah Karim US$57k plus share based payments of US$0.

Outstanding warrants and average exercise prices:-

Glen Lau 2.85m @ 96p
Zafarullah Karim 1.42m @ 62p

the results are that the directors all took a nice amount of pay and expenses. That's about all. Zafarullah Karim is very good at that.

Results should be interesting, to say the least. Improved revenues on MGR & greater business/activity with regards to our offshore yard(but re the JV of last August, won't be included until later results, as was mentioned at the time)
Results could be anytime from late May, as was last year, or into June.
And what's the latest on the rig!?!

I hope AMED comes good for you guys. you've been very patient. There is no doubt that canny traders can make money trading AMED because of it's tiny Mkt Cap and small free float. However I'm not a share trader, let alone a canny one, so wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. However I wish you ATB with AMED.

I am never right, the market always is.
That said, if the rig had been delivered, a westernised assessment of the potential copper concentrate and cathode resource in GKC's mines had been released (where we have a 2.5% holding), together with further news re the supply of copper to East Asia (via MGR Resources where we have a 49% holding), then our share price would be 10x the current price.
That is why the price we pay to invest is linked to the risk/reward prospect of the company at that time. If that risk is too high for you or anyone else, then don't invest. For my part, given the size of my holding, I would ask myself one simple question. If I was to add more shares tomorrow, would that purchase offer greater value now, compared to the previous occasions I had bought.
Clearly, I feel that is the case.
DTC and I have posted many articles over the previous weeks/months, outlining why value may be realised in the coming months, over and above my opening paragraph.
We will know more in the June results, if not before.
