Net assets at last report: $17.7m (including cash in bank of $1m)
Shares in issue: 33m (of which around 20m not in public hands)

$17.7m = £13.3m. 33m shares @ 40p each.

even assuming a 50% placing to add an addtional 17m shares = 50m total would still give 26p per share NAV (+ the the value of cash raised as banked cash. Current share price <20p.

Volume building nicely. I am happy to see a little profit taking along the way, as it allows new pi's to come on board, looking for capital gain. All about newsflow as we know. Just happy that Mena are in at 100p and the other three large shareholders, including Qatar Investment Corporation, at 50p. All are in for the huge ticket prices that new rig orders will attract.

It's been muted by the Chairman of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, Ren Yuanlin(& for those subsidiary yards, one of which is ours) that Clean Energy Vessels/LNG will be one of their primary focus for the future.
The below links all mention this and particularly the first link which states our Offshore Yard, from August 2015. hxxps://www.nextinsight.biz/index.php/story-archive-mainmenu-60/927-2015/10190-yangzijiang-defies-headwinds-to-grow-capacity-orders-and-output.

And December 2015 hxxp://www.straitstimes.com/business/companies-markets/yangzijiang-executive-chairman-steers-firm-through-rough-waters.

And February 2016 hxxp://www.businesstimes.com.sg/companies-markets/yangzijiang-shipbuildings-q4-profit-plunges-93.

So its just a matter of time, like your link this month Knicol46, suggests. Should be lucrative for AMED, as part 19% interest. And there's the JV our offshore yard undertook from this August, revenues should show in next year's results. But as we know, larger developments, take considerable time, to generate payback. 'Next year Rodder's!!!

Agreed, that's impressive growth. China's most profitable shipbuilder & 4th globally. Very interesting link.

Hopefully we'll receive a good trading update/news before start of 2018. Really could do with latest on rig, our yard & MGR Resources investments.

Yes that was my thought too, until I saw the yard name for our Explorer-1 rig. However, I note the Group Yard Name. Confusing.

Good to see H1 mineral exports increasing from Iran in H1. Good news for our 2.5% investment (with a further 5% option) in the GKC copper mine and MGR commodity trading:-

Good insight by Bowood on iii(I'm sure he won't mind posting)
The liquid assets he mentions would be the Cash in the bank, the $800,000 loan and interest payable. Plus not mentioned below is the copper mine investment/potential.

'Yes Izzy I also feel very comfortable here, as you say there are liquid assets and investments and no debt which together effectively account for the low MC of less than £5m at 15p without putting any value whatsoever on the yard and the rig. In other words you could forget all about the rig/yard and there would still be a fantastic business with good earning and growth potential. But of course there is value in the rig and if this has a value of £15m it would equate to another 45p a share. We are massively undervalued and with little risk and I will look to add a few more. Well before the end of the year I feel we will get an RNS that will result in a rerate and a new level to move forward from. I think the region AMED operates in can open up tremendous growth opportunities'.

ps. Gotto, on LEG just to let you know regarding Dixons Carphone warehouse, it was announced last year. Zac even talks about it in a video interview.

Here's LEG own RNS from 3rd March.

"VS has a history of deploying digital solutions to leading retailers including Tesco, Maplin, Sainsbury's Argos, Dixons Carphone and Office Depot. Selected for its ability to implement agile, scalable technologies, VS continues to provide its retail partners with the tools to optimise supply chain operations, while delivering significant cost savings.

But hey, who needs details.
