15/8/2017 11:04 | This is one of my three most popular small companies, the others being NTBR and MSI, both of these drifted before results and I was able to take the opportunity to top up. Always a gamble of course but I cannot see anything nasty on the horizon except things that will affect all shares so am going to drip feed here in small amounts before the results. | royaloak
07/8/2017 14:46 | FYI think that sub-division is one of their lowest margin operations. Will be interesting if this is RNS'd and what the price they received was | dan_the_epic
07/8/2017 14:33 | Treasure is a fair analysis! Looks like a small disposal is in the offing today. Sale of Scaffolding & Construction Products Ltd to Metal Spraying UK. Article doesn't give a cash value but readthrough seems to be 'multi-million'. | dan_the_epic
07/8/2017 12:31 | Hi all, just bought just under 1200 to dip my toe, this looks like a little treasure from my figures ....Would like to see them spending their cash a bit so looking forward to the next update | tdog1975
03/8/2017 20:30 | I've scrutinised the figures, and quite frankly I think broker forecasts for 2018 and 2019 are just plain conservative. I expect upside to unwind into those forecasts, if not at FY17 end, then H118. | dan_the_epic
03/8/2017 11:51 | Think you are selling it a bit short RC. Trading on 8.5 times prospective yielding more than 4% assuming a 7p dividend and as you say CEO picked up 50,000 shares above these levels in late June. What's not to like? | spooky
03/8/2017 11:34 | I think the main things you should think about are the fact that the interim results were good and we have had a fair bit of director buying of shares since then. You can buy the shares currently on a PE of 10 and a yield of 4%. I think this is a good long term share. | rcturner2
03/8/2017 11:30 | Any thoughts on whether this will rally come results. It hasn't done much, I've been invested since pre 200 and now in and around 165. Getting bored of the oscillation in and around 180 mark. Torn between topping up while it's low, pre-results or pulling out altogether for a more interesting share.... you can guarantee whatever I choose it will do the opposite haha | grahamandkay
03/8/2017 10:26 | I added to my stake yesterday. | rcturner2
31/7/2017 22:22 | Small things like this, and a focus on end quality, is core to why I reckon Alumasc can maintain growth in the UK ahead of the market, whilst grabbing market share. | dan_the_epic
28/7/2017 12:52 | Travelled around London yesterday to view a few recent Levolux developments (Blackfriars, The Halo Building, F Crick Institute, and 2 more). Very impressed by the quality of the fit-outs and puts their ability to generate very high returns on capital and retain high margins into perspective. Very bullish on the prospects here indeed. | dan_the_epic
14/7/2017 13:31 | Well I've added to my SIPP today (averaged down!). Would probably have bought more, however I'm mindful of the pension scheme deficit and the effect the recent direction of gilt yields will have on this in the results. I should add what concerns me isn't the actual deficit, more so the effect it could have on sentiment and the share price. Recent director buying is always good to see. | junior21
03/7/2017 11:50 | Have added to my holding here with the recent director buys adding to my confidence that full year targets will possibly be beaten. | whilstev
20/6/2017 21:34 | I am a holder - Excellent news | krobertson878
20/6/2017 13:40 | Chief Executive buys 50,000 ALU shares. | pvb
12/6/2017 10:32 | PE is under 10 and yield is over 3.5% based on last years numbers, so this is not expensive. Those numbers will look even better come the finals. | rcturner2
12/6/2017 10:20 | As this is a MM stock I reckon MM's can influence things more than with a SET's stock, and sometimes try and frighten holders out when they see a price dip. A good example is NTBR which is in the same sector, they came out with an excellent statement today, have a look how that price moved about the last few months. I am happy to hold both. | royaloak
13/4/2017 15:24 | What do they call it, an apple shake, or is it a tree shake...lol | grahamandkay
13/4/2017 15:07 | That's quite a turnaround today - very bullish IMO | davr0s
27/3/2017 12:48 | No panic on my part Turner, it's other people's I can't understand! Maybe I'm not paranoid enough for this game! Not too heavily invested in any one thing. | runthejoules
27/3/2017 11:58 | There is no panic, shares go up and down all the time. Nothing has changed here. | rcturner2
27/3/2017 10:56 | I have no idea why this stock is crashing so bad when it seemed rather a safe bet. And no idea why I didn't sel out at 200 or have hung on... still, with target price at 2.55gbp it seems a bit of a bargain now. Why the panic? Low dollar? | runthejoules
23/3/2017 20:18 | Of course I wish I'd sold at 200, but back down to bargain status now I'd say.. | runthejoules |
