Interesting couple of weeks coming here.Full year results due back end of this week and first quarter results shortly after.The future should become much clearer about how the expansion plans will be achieved.Russian bonds are obviously a no no so i will be looking for the management to come up with a new plan to self finance the expansion slowly and to introduce a small dividend.As alway GLA

Bid moved up slightly can sell for £1.32.50 buy £1.40 it will be interesting to see how they manage this next week are the MM's going to up the bid on the hope to grab some cheap stock??

Well they've hung on so far. It's only just turned profitable after a long battle. Their real issue is scale. Now they are making more money, the company becomes investable, market cap goes up, as market cap goes up becomes still more investable etc....

In March 2022, second-tier banks and individual non-bank exchange offices sold 8,269 bars with a total weight of 167.2 kg, which is 2.9 times more compared to the same period in 2021 (2,898 bars weighing 48.2 kg).

Yes its about future plans now for me as FY21 EBITDA is pretty much known.

So where will they source new funds from or will they simply choose to self fund using FCF over a longer timeframe.

The big one for me remains the main market listing. If they cannot use london now to raise some fresh capital (when they need it most) and the listing is also not providing any liquidity despite their best efforts, then when do they chuck in the towel to save on the listing fees/administration burden. It just seems completely superfluous to requirements at present unless there is a dramatic shift in focus.

The news for the Full-year report is already pretty hard-baked. More interesting will be the Q1 production update which should come out mid-May

Wld be nice to see. Just depends on how keen they are to reinvest The management have been taking low wages for some time and just putting cash back into expanding production. Perhaps if that pushed up the share price might be easier for them to raise money to expand? Guess we see. Wldnt blame them for holding back a little until they can find a new source of finance.

If you take gold up over $100 in the last 2 months the average Gold poured each month is around 2000 Ounces gives them an extra revenue of around $600K, but as we know the Gold poured has been increasing month on month so that could be a lot higher.

Only a week or so to find out.

I think a 10p div would not put a dent in the overall profit the way gold has increased would equate to this windfall

I managed to add 5000 to my holding yesterday at 1.391 which they didn't report for a few hours which rather confirms how tight the market is.
Results last year were 30th April so hopefully not long to wait to see that their 2021 revenue was greater than the market cap - insane !
Love to see them declare a small dividend

Brokers reports are based on the old gold price. Gold is up 10% with profits up therefore over 20.

Buyers are still coming in for ALTN and no wonder, the share price is miles away from the recent broker target range of £3.60p to £4.20p

Probably only 7-8 days before the results are due which should be excellent and will surely drive the share price through £2 and onwards.

Most brokers are 'at best' so once again it is nigh impossible to buy anything meaningful, just a couple of weeks before the results and they should be exceptional, the forward PE is barely 2 on my estimation.

Still think this will rally next week with £2+ a real possibility near term.

Well still no stock available with Halifax so the smoke and mirrors by the MM's to make out there are sellers is on going can sell plenty cant buy diddly squat.

If you look at their website reserves are 3.47m ounces, which is worth around $7billion....quite a lot given a mkt cap of $50m....

LOL KEFI has a MK of £37ml but as of yet not dug any of the gold stuff out of the ground. how the market works is strange indeed

I agree. Day trade needs to be high liquidity low spread shares. The deal here is price is so low it could go up 3 or 4 times times and still be cheap on an earnings basis with a single digit pe ratio

That has often been the problem, can only buy small amounts, spread is a killer, and any selling crashes the share price

Really tough to trade this, so best to just sit.
