01/7/2021 15:51 | I can sell my whole holding in Altyn, which is 70,000. But AJ Bell will only sell 1 share electronic trading, will not even take limit order. Barclays will not trade any either electronically or broker, and my independent broker can't even fill a small purchase order of 7000. They will take them Invite others to check AJ Bell will now sell me THREE shares, still no limit orders, Barclays can't get me any either electronic or via broker and independent broker can't fill order. Invite others to check King Suarez. There clearly is a demand, but no shares to sell which makes you wonder how they have dropped the price | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:51 | I would be concerned if we were the only junior gold miner in the doldrums share price wise, but this is the wider market imo; HUM, AAZ, SRB, PUR all way down from recent highs, MTL doing ok, but still 20% off the high. Explorers like EEE, GGP, WSBN down too. Just no demand for shares in the sector for some reason right now, so, buy and/or hold imo and wait. | king suarez
01/7/2021 15:50 | Pension, I'm not finding that, true I can't buy 500 shares, but I can sell 5000 but not 10000. OK that's clearly positive for a rebound, but it's still small beer. The share's illiquidity is pretty severe... As we all know! | cyberbub
01/7/2021 15:48 | cyber: if it was bad news and people were offloading do you think they would stop electronic trading or broker trading for buyers and limit in the case of AJ Bell to ONE share! Makes a mockery of price finding mechanism. | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:47 | A first for me....AJ Bell can sell ONE share!! | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:45 | I guess there has always been the risk that the family could launch a bid for the remaining shares at a nice price for them, and take it fully private. But would they get agreement from enough shareholders to make it compulsory, at less than (say) 150p?There's also the possibility that there is some technical trouble at t'mine which only insiders know about...Or it could just be a relatively large holder (say 250k shares) needing some cash and selling in the background - the share is so illiquid that could crater the share price Who knows! | cyberbub
01/7/2021 15:45 | Even my broker unable to get me even one share! Makes the pricing mechanism look highly suspect. AJ Bell won't do electronic trade either. Quite a price can drop like this but where buyers are prevented from buying leaves nothing to the imagination. | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:39 | A look at the long term chart will show that the share price was a third of our current one two years ago. This is when I began buying. I knew the road would be a few years long and a little bumpy, but this is ridiculous. I think if the market gets wind of a deal to dilute the family holding with some kind of strategic partnership, the share price will rally strongly. The family are the problem and the obstacle to investment, they have too much power, and it's a dangerous situation for investors, so we need their power diluted and a professional team put in place before we can raise equity cash and begin phase 2. If they aren't prepared to dilute then they should focus on TS development, but FFS they should at least let us know how that is progressing and what the plan is! Rant over, but I am getting a little frustrated by the pace of development and lack of information for shareholders to ponder. When I feel this way it is usually a great time to go large! | excellance
01/7/2021 15:36 | Only wanted 7000. Able to get ZERO! | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:35 | I can only assume the current share price is rigged! | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:33 | Good luck to anyone who was able to buy. I could not get any either electronic or via broker and could not even place a limit order. | pensionplanner
01/7/2021 15:25 | Hovering on the top up at the moment. Take Excel's point about an equity raise being front run although would be amazed if the family would issue any major fresh equity at circa 1p; especially when they have gone out of their way to prevent dilution to date. | sloppyg
01/7/2021 15:21 | Six weeks to Q2 numbers, but TS drilling report and mine development plan are way way overdue. | excellance
01/7/2021 15:15 | Agreed, we have all seen the drift before, fantastic time to add...... | chrisdgb
01/7/2021 15:12 | They say, buy the dips. This one hell of a dip! | bsg
01/7/2021 15:09 | It always revolves around finance. Altyn are under funded, but are surely generating vast profit relative to existing debt, and current mkt cap. There is a plan to raise a large amount of cash to further develop underground mining and upgrade to 100k Oz pa. Surely a better plan is to get TS open pit up and running first, at much lower cost, lower risk, and will generate vast profit which can then be leveraged to fund the previously mentioned development. The current share price weakness is probably due to falling gold prices, but also there is no appetite from anyone to invest here while there is no visibility of a plan or public relations campaign to promote our wares. | excellance
01/7/2021 14:54 | Sigh, it's certainly going down the toilet a bit now.. I suspect someone knows something.. | cyberbub
01/7/2021 14:16 | Hi excellance,,.My interpretation FWIW is that in the last few days, goldie capital has been/is rotating out of minnows (like ALTN) into mega-caps or ETF's. Seems to me to be a recurring theme. | tightfist
01/7/2021 14:12 | I don't see why they couldn't raise more debt in their current financial position? | cyberbub
30/6/2021 21:37 | So, the company appear to have begun their quest for fundraising several months ago, and I wonder if this is why the share price is drifting lower. Are we at the mercy of shorts or front runners anticipating a placing of shares to a third party? Will there be a strategic partner? Will our new American friend earn his keep with a corporate deal that brings huge value to our little gold producer? At the very least we'll have Q2 numbers in 5 or 6 weeks, and maybe an update on our development plans. Personally I'd prefer a cautious approach that avoids an over extended repayment schedule. | excellance
30/6/2021 21:19 | 11 May 21 "The Company has significantly improved its financial position in 2020 and 1Q21. The Company’s Net Debt to EBITDA ratio has steadily improved over the last years: 5.6x in 2018, 4.7x in 2019 and 1.6x in 2020. Management maintains a positive view on the Company’s capacity to raise funding for the Company’s upcoming capital requirements at attractive terms." | excellance
30/6/2021 17:50 | Gold up. Usd up. Start of Basel 3 effect? All a bit bizarre. | fiddling12
30/6/2021 16:10 | All my commodity stocks getting bashed at the minute, good opportunity to top up in my opinion. | andydaf
30/6/2021 14:53 | Our share price weakness is likely to be directly linked to the falling gold price. With costs of under $1000 per ounce we are still making about $800 operating profit per ounce produced, but we do have a little debt to manage, and future borrowing to consider if we are to expand and accelerate development. | excellance |
