24/6/2019 07:22 | wrighty, I've bought 500K ALTN this am, many thanx, let's see how she goes, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
21/6/2019 06:35 | Morning all gold appears to be finally on a bit of a run. I feel here is as good a place as any to be. If the company have hit processing and production has increased next update could indicate the start of a decent turnaround here. GLA | wrighty46
20/6/2019 19:15 | jerrypike - please will you ask what management plan to do in terms of regular reporting going forward, now that things seem finally to be gaining traction? There is a yawning credibility gap with long suffering PIs who are fed up of being treated as mushrooms. | sandeels

20/6/2019 12:12 | I wonder what assets ALTN will acquire with the loans from the Bank. | shareho1der
20/6/2019 10:59 | Was going to buy more this morning, got a price, got distracted and then the price offered was 5% higher. Thought I would let it drift back and when I came back to it is was another 10% higher! | jc2706
20/6/2019 08:35 | Started my buying today. Looking for some news here next month or so.GLA | wrighty46
18/6/2019 12:48 | Thanks, look forward to hearing - AGM statement, or not! .Looks like we have a Sale to be delay-posted? Not that daily trading counts for much here. IMO the biggest threat is being taken private....... that thought is holding me back at present..Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
18/6/2019 10:55 | Guys if I attend-which I fully hope to....I will keep you posted Mr P | jerrypike
18/6/2019 10:38 | Thanks for the update Chip, hopefully jerrypike can update us afterwards. BTW the trade reporting is incorrect, as is often the case; 0.369p was a Buy.Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
18/6/2019 10:28 | Top management did not attend the agm in 2018. Only the FCO and a non-exec. One would hope that the Chairman and CEO will be there this year. I had planned to go but am now too busy. Chip | chipperfrd
18/6/2019 07:05 | Yes, there COULD be an AGM statement, at least of the length of 2017 (rather than the two lines of 2018!). There MAY be an update on operation of the new plant and PROGRESS on funding - I was hoping to also attend the AGM just from a BoD credibility standpoint but am now unable - Good Luck! tightfist | tightfist

17/6/2019 09:38 | Yes indeed I agree with all the above posts,I have picked up a few more..my best price being.34.I am expecting news next week re the hopefully increased production as the new equipment will have been in place for nearly a month by then.I am saying this because there SHOULD be an AGM statement.I am planning to be there for the AGM next week. Any positive news will I believe greatly enhance the share price-if there is in my opinion you wont see .35-40 again.(HOPEFULLY) | jerrypike
17/6/2019 08:41 | I think I understand the problem regarding funding. Judging by the small amount they have recently taken out, they are unwilling to secure it against the asset. That is likely to result in colossal interest rates which the company are unwilling to accept either. The rising gold price together with the likely increase in production volumes (to be confirmed) on the back of the new equipment should make the conversation slightly easier. | jc2706
17/6/2019 08:28 | Also been accumulating recently. Throwing good money after bad ?......well time will tell but hedging my bets that the owners will not allow it to fail outright having come so far; worst case scenario for me is one where it is taken private at a slight premium. I do imagine raising the debt finance is not an easy conversation when the multi millionaire owners put themselves in front of the bank asking for a relatively modest amount in terms of what has been invested to get us to this point. Anyway hopefully some news on that front soon ! | sloppyg
17/6/2019 08:05 | Indeed, we are clearly the wrong price but just need a couple of bits of news for a major change in direction...... | chrisdgb
17/6/2019 07:06 | Have done a bit of research here over the weekend and have decided to increase my holding over the next 3 or 4 weeks. News and updates are scarce and hard to find, but the main reasons are the increased funding which hopefully will come through as early as next month, the increased through put of ore and we should be mining ore with increasing gold content anytime now from what I can understand. Costs seem to be under control and the company are actively reducing these. It's not turned yet but if a few pieces slot into place during H2 then an increase in value could follow and it will be quite rapid imo. GLA just my initial musings. | wrighty46
14/6/2019 17:22 | if they get it right back to 2p quickly. | stockknobjockeyvanbookstino
14/6/2019 07:50 | Well gold hits $1350 oz and last year this time was 1280 and then fell to 1200 for 4 months before rising as it usually does in the back end of the year and winter months I'll take any small positive for this share ! :) Maybe the strength in the gold price might just be enough to get Altyn over the line with finance. Of course Altyn has to do what it needs to on the ground but at least the wind is blowing in the right direction at the moment. Fingers crossed. | vish65
04/6/2019 06:34 | Gold price rises have a hugely disproportionate effect on Altyn's finance so it is great to see stronger gold prices to not only boost the financial performance of the company but also support their access to further funding. If the gold price continues to rise then things will look more and more positive here. This has more potential than any other gold share on the market currently but the risks still remain. | jc2706
03/6/2019 17:15 | No breath holding going on here either , but gold price is looking happy and Altyn is still digging for the stuff , lets keep going . | its a worry
31/5/2019 17:05 | Chrisdgb, You are not going to get any yet. To quote from the final results: "The expectation as it currently stands is that the increased funding will be in place in Q3 2019." So July at the earliest based on that. However, with the equipment they have already ordered, the production rate from late Q2 should improve by a fair amount (estimated at about 38%) based on the additional ore processed. It is also envisaged to increase by another factor (an additional 23%) based on grade improvements. These two together account for an indicative 70% increase in the production rate should all go to plan. At that rate they would likely be very profitable, especially with a supportive gold price. It would be good to have news at the end of Q2 but I won't hold my breath. | jc2706
31/5/2019 11:48 | Gold looking really good in this market environment......... | chrisdgb
30/5/2019 11:23 | "The proceeds of an initial loan taken out coupled with an injection of funds from the majority shareholder, are being used in the short term to purchase equipment to increase production from the current levels to approximately 40,000t per month. The expected increase in production is planned to take place towards the end of Q2 2019." It would be nice to get an update (around about now)re the above, but I won't hold my breath.
