54% resources increase at Tabakorole


Highlights:

· FT Prospect at Tabakorole hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate comprising:

o 16,600,000 tonnes at 1.2 g/t Au for 620,000 ounces in the Inferred category

o 7,300,000 tonnes at 1.2 g/t Au for 290,000 ounces in the Indicated category

o 54% increase in ounces and 20% increase in grade from historical mineral resource

o 43% of the MRE situated within 100m of the surface

o Gold mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth

· Preliminary metallurgical studies to be undertaken

· Drilling to test multiple resource expansion targets to commence in Q4 2020

· Marvel is earning an initial 33% interest in the Project under the JV

· Altus holds a 2.5% NSR gold royalty on Tabakorole



Steven Poulton, Chief Executive of Altus, commented:

"We are delighted to announce this substantial gold resource at the Tabakorole gold project in southern Mali. The recent drilling undertaken by Marvel, as part of their phase-1 earn-in on the Project, has resulted in a 54% increase in gold ounces and a 20% higher grade than the previous historical resource.

"The MRE is located on the 2.9km long FT Prospect, which remains open along strike and at depth. Recently reported aircore drill results, including 6.2 g/t over 6m from 14m indicate the clear potential for the strike length of the FT Prospect to be extended and for the resource to grow. Marvel have advised that they intend to drill these and other targets as the JV moves in to phase-2 in the fourth quarter of this year.

"Tabakorole represents a significant regional gold discovery and we look forward to updating shareholders with further news as the JV progresses."

A. It boils down to value. We believe that we represent fantastic value at current prices. We offer investors a diversified portfolio of precious and base metals, and that is at the project level, in the equity level of companies and at the royalty level. We genuinely believe, we capture the two sweet spots of the mining sector for investors; our focus on Africa provides diversification of jurisdictional risk from geopolitical events, but also commodity risk too.

All in all, Altus is a one stop investment for shareholders to gain exposure
to a great deal of upside, as well as the potential for long-term income streams, all in the one vehicle

• Altus selling a 100% interest in two Ivory Coast gold projects, Prikro and Zenoula
• Altus to receive an initial payment of:
- 2.5% NSR royalty on the Projects
- 2,500,000 Stellar shares with a current market value of C$125,000
- 2,500,000 share purchase warrants, each exercisable to purchase a Stellar share for 24 months at C$0.07
• Subject to the progress of the Projects, Altus will receive further equity based payments of 2* $0.25MM worth of Stellar shares


No direct valuation was given to these projects in the August share price Angel target price of 100p/share

The Company has noted a significant increase in the number of approaches from groups seeking potential transactions. Altus is reviewing a number of project and royalty opportunities and expects this work to lead to additional deal flow throughout the course of 2020.

The Company’s key objectives for the next 12 months are to:

-Continue to grow the number of projects in Altus’ portfolio;

-Advance the exploration work programmes across Altus’ existing portfolio of licences;

-Complete a number of royalty-based JV and other transactions on Altus’ existing assets; and

-Identify potential project, royalty and corporate acquisition opportunities and where possible conclude accretive transactions on these.

The Company’s long-term objective is to generate significant positive cashflow for shareholders from a diversified portfolio of high-quality royalties, projects and JV
