My take is that presently we are valued at £8m (assuming above details are correct!). After a series of reports and plans which obviously the AUS government must agree to, then the Chinese investors will confirm their £30m again which has been temporarily withdrawn during all this uncertainty.

Share price goes up to reflect this?

Then we test drill. Prove the resource. Finally get some income from it all. (Opencast Coal mining isn't really that complicated!)

Share price goes up again?

We then get bought/sell out or we raise more money somehow to continue drilling.

Then it's a case of Dig, Income, Raise money, repeat (apropo Eat, sleep, rave, repeat Fatboy Slim tune!!)

Finally getting excited about this...... And get into profit hopefully!

Things moving forward now cpap.
Massive resource and coal prices around $100 so incentives are there to get this moving quickly and strategically.
Hopefully the board can do what they say because it has and always has had huge potential.

Decent news. Things seems to be moving ahead now finally.

Government on board with Altona and need this project to happen asap.

Results.

Seems a better foundation to build on going forward, G&A cut which is good to see. Nonetheless 2018 is a huge year for the asset and the board to prove themselves and back the positive tone.

I haven't read anything about end of 2018. Only that they are looking at an exploration plan for 2018. That could mean we could get something at anytime.

Interesting. By the end of 2018; ANR should be ready to present their research data to one or more of the 'Big Boys' in Oz. Who knows, with a trip to China already planned, there could be significant Chinese interest.

NewKid - I think plan A has gone for the moment. Perhaps generating some cash flow might be a good plan now. Longer-term hopefully some Plan A options can still be re-addressed.

It's not as easy as that. There is 140 meters of over site to remove before they even get to the coal. Still think long term, plan A is the best option.

Its the report that the focus is now looking for more drier/less wet deposits to mine; that has triggered the rise this morning. Whilst there are more technically demanding projects in the pipeline, mining and selling coal is basic and an almost instant revenue earner.
