Given all the previous extensive studies into CTL you would assume the report is going to be positive, clearing the way for the final go ahead. At last!.
We will soon find out, due Aug/Sept. $30m worth of funding still in place.

Market Cap £2m.

I also believe it is all good news.

My main concern is further Subscriptions/Placings to beef up required working capital due to the wasted 2 years, which will now be lower prices given we presently the share price sits at 0.2p and therefore diluting us more.

Saying that surely it can't be long before the market wakes up to this news? Just awaiting this updated report is surely just a formality given the main research/feasibilities were all done and agreed years ago?

All the best
Paul

Holding a significant loss but thinking about doubling down at this low price.
Huge potential upside but the lack of tangible progress for years gives me concerns.

yeah but the PB report will be interesting in a few weeks, then full steam ahead hopefully.
at least they are now on route to deliver what the majority of people invested here for!
nobody wanted ucg apart from the bod, or should I say a few of them!.
$30m of financial backing still in place.

potential is massive then we knew that already but the pace of delivery slow beyond belief.

The original plan was a 10m barrel per annum CTL plant. 30,000bpd phase 1 & 45,000bpd phase 2 inc 840 MW plant ph2.

Mind boggling figures as it has been said and this is why the asset fits into 'world class' category.

They are now back to the original project so the above numbers are relevant from previous studies and proposals. Report due in a few weeks should back this up.

Market Cap ANR £2m.

Just need to have faith in management to deliver now. mmmm

Agree, pleased they have binned UCG albeit wasted time on it.
Prove it up first and then they will have options imo to either sell it on or bring in a major partner to finance it all the way. Will dilute all parties obviously but the numbers are so huge it would still add up.

Probably worth reverting back to some of the production revenue figures per annum in the presentation and it's mind boggling.

The asset is huge, proven volumes and classified as 'world class'.

The PB report which is funded by S-A is due within the next few weeks.

Going on the last few rns's it confirms the Australian governments fully support the development of this asset, which is a big plus.

Mr Qinfu Zhang, Executive Chairman of Altona, commented, "The Company will now
investigate a coal to gas operation. It is a low risk option using well-proven
methods of extraction and coal conversion. We have always had two choices to
develop our extensive coal assets. To this end we have a vast amount of
technical data regarding the coal and geology at Arckaringa which we will pass
on to PB to expedite the delivery of their report.

"We are disappointed that we cannot progress our plans for using the UCG at
this time but recognise it was a high-risk method of extraction with limited
rates of success in Australia, to date. The Board considers that the return to
traditional coal extraction and processing methods is in the best interests of
shareholders in the current circumstances.

"In making this decision the board was cognisant of the acute energy deficit in
South Australia and the opportunity this presents for energy producers."

Why the hell do they even think about buying assets when they have a world class one any way and a plan A that, numbers wise, is as big as anything else out there, ffs BOD what are you doing.

Hopefully they are confident/ 'know' that some serious news flow (for once) is coming?
As far as I know they still have the $30m funding behind them but need the approvals!.
