11/8/2022 09:20 | This meeting only strengthened my support for Graham and Nikki, what a great team. I also noticed a hint towards 40% growth and also an air of confidence about the two of them that is surely born from positive Q1 & Q2 numbers.IMO, the market as a whole has fair bit of recovery ahead in Q3 & Q4. Top line will be circa 20m with a lower margin on merchanting from the changes coming out of covid, but still a healthy 2m plus profit. As soon as we see evidence of this at half year results, we will get a rerate from Zeus, having smashed their projections. At which point the share price will move to 50p, then in 12 months time after further evidence of growth a return to 100p and beyond | stars309
11/8/2022 09:00 | My last comment here as I am very happy with the business going forward, again it’s about currency. Considering the Q was pre- submitted the CFO answered it in a stumbling chaotic manner ( imho) however the answer that both he and the CEO gave is as expected- a strong $ is VERY positive for ALT. The average approximate £/$ exchange rate in the ALT 1st half LastFY was 1.38 THIS YEAR it is so far ( 41/2months into 1st half) approximately 1.22 ALT ONLY mention £ in results Therefore if they earned the SAME revenue as last year ( it’s going to be a lot higher) the REPORTED revenue will be AT LEAST 11% HIGHER on the balance sheet. My guesstimate is that H1 this year visa v last year will be 20% PLUS UP given the comments made that’s going to be extra nice given the currency advantage May hay while the sun shines 😉 S | sweenoid
10/8/2022 23:52 | So you changed your impression of Nikki? | robbnw
10/8/2022 22:38 | Q@A now up. Sadly my q on govt grant not answered. https://www.investor | northwards
10/8/2022 21:25 | I intend to buy a few sub 30 if i can. I may have misheard, but the FD let slip they are on for 40 percent growth this year. | northwards
10/8/2022 21:21 | Going top up again hopefully before 30 p Don't think we will see these lows ever again | robbnw
10/8/2022 19:15 | The share price will recover I bet by end year will be nearer 50 pence if not more We will see | robbnw
10/8/2022 19:14 | 100 percent agree | robbnw
10/8/2022 19:14 | North So good to read this my friend I said only a few days ago that I have always been very impressed with NikkiWe also have the best Board we have ever had I can only see it a matter of time before the market wakes up to the potential here The dark days of covid are well and truly over | robbnw
10/8/2022 17:08 | Yes, I'm feeling very reassured. Business feels very scalable, gross profit levels look set to rise, and a clear strategy to grown feels - finally - very real. | northwards
10/8/2022 16:58 | Very positive and forward looking presentation, you can feel the expectation that new internal developements are going to be pushed as far as pos. I take it the Covid years were spent surviving but also gearing up for the post-Covvid era, meaning the cash & time investment has largely been made. This is clearly a blue sky company in the right hands - Nikki is v. on the ball. The only gripe I have is the share price! If they deliver as they intend, that should look after itself. Agreed - the news is presented in a 1000% better manner. The clarity of the situation is apparent in the format and fluidity. That puts an answer to lot of past questions. £/$ can only be good for now, but who would like to predict future events? Not I! | napoleon 14th
10/8/2022 16:56 | Impressed with CEO today Presentation good Terrible answer to my £/$ question though!- it’s POSITIVE but they didn’t convey that probably because it’s a fluid situation. I like the idea they are recession proof I like the comments on jobs in US I get the feeling Q1 23 went very well, growth is afoot, exchange WILL help revenues. NOTHING frightens or alarms me after this presentation Happy with that S | sweenoid
10/8/2022 16:42 | Nikki is very good. The prez is decent. Much, much clearer about explaining the business model, progress and the route forwards.I'm comfortable. And may even nibble. | northwards
10/8/2022 15:57 | Lets just wait for a couple more minutes for any late arrival`s. Then Peter will open the Presentation. | steveberyl
10/8/2022 14:31 | The price of ALT collapsed in relation to one particular event which was nothing to do with Nikki performance or otherwise. please be realistic and understand the History of ALT/4Imprint. Or indeed Incentive2 (Fantastic brand name) change Company name from Alt to; Incentive2 at no cost. 2 promotional gift operators working primarily in USA obviously there is correlation in many aspects, unfortunately not in the price bracket yet, but like many, I am convinced it will come. My only concern is the battle between left/right of USA politics, it is a tinder box, and needs only the smallest spark to bring Riots on the streets. A small point to add; USA left is an, armed Corbyn & Pals backed by FBI & CIA. | steveberyl
10/8/2022 14:13 | When have the positive numbers by FOUR ever correlated to a positive move in ALT’s share price. There is no correlation. Regarding the comments about Nikki, the share price has collapsed by 70ish % since her appointment. Of my comments that you have listed, please tell me which you think is unfair or untrue? | maltrko
10/8/2022 13:49 | Oh Dear, Somebody is trying now to distance the 2 entities from one and the other. Of course you are right malt, Alt build Helicopters, 4Imprint do Newspapers. This posters record does indeed speak volumes about his knowledge. Regards Nikki as a spare part ??? 10/8/2022 08:21 | It looks like our numbers have been flattered by that 500k govt subsidy. Be good to get clarity on this from the company today. I'll submit a Q during the prez. Let's see what the response is. | northwards
10/8/2022 08:12 | Edit; four £34.60 utter madness with USA in turmoil. Alt 27p ? Something radically wrong on the disconnect. Defies logic. | steveberyl
10/8/2022 07:20 | Four; £33.50 a pop ?? I think not. Paul Moody, Chairman said: "The Board remains very confident in the Group's strategy, the strength and resilience of its business model and its competitive position. This confidence is expressed in our expectation of reaching our long-held revenue target of $1bn during the 2022 financial year. At the same time, the Board is cognisant of continuing uncertainty in the form of geo-political and broad economic factors that could potentially slow down the Group's performance during the remainder of 2022. Trading momentum in the first few weeks of the second half of 2022 has remained encouraging. " "Confident, he aint. purely in my view." A complete contradiction, Confident does not come with a caveat. Simple as. | steveberyl
