12/9/2021 20:01 | Ram you are obviously ahead of the game here with your thoughts. The issue of shares is puzzling as why is the money needed at present. | seangwhite
12/9/2021 19:58 | Exactly right | stars309
12/9/2021 19:36 | Absolutely Manny Makes me mad when people slag off MV for realising some of his wealth and using it for day to day needs Hell what is investing all about if you can not do that .As you say he has done nothing But buy back since and show his loyalty If i was in his position i would do the same Some people are never happy When ALT finally gets bought and MV makes a fortune , in my mind , no one will deserve the success more than him | robbnw
12/9/2021 18:46 | How do you know why MV sold LESS THAN 10% OF HIS HOLDING? We all have cash requirements, school fees, children’s weddings, house purchases etc. After selling shares he was still by far the biggest shareholder and has been buying back shares ever since. If you have nearly all your personal wealth in shares in your company, the only way to release cash is to sell shares. | mannymif
12/9/2021 17:57 | First MV has no desire for sure Second other Directors and main shareholders wouldn't allow it Third you are wrong about MVHe's shown his loyalty time and time again and we are lucky to have him | robbnw
12/9/2021 17:39 | Sorry but no chance Zero | robbnw
12/9/2021 15:16 | MV St take private; need £15m borrowing to pay existing holders for there shares at 36p ish. Man BUY out; board dismiss dissenters agree 60m share place at av of 36/38p MV shown his colors by selling 1m shares previosly. No loyalty to holders | rampage5
11/9/2021 20:25 | Totally totally agree | robbnw
11/9/2021 20:25 | Who cares about SCSWYes they got plenty right but they get plenty wrong Valerie P to name one of many They can only have about 20 stocks in their portfolioOn ALT they will be proved wrong | robbnw
11/9/2021 20:23 | Totally agreed | robbnw
11/9/2021 19:38 | Just on the first feature alone, he has failed miserably. I just hope it is addressed at the AGM and not brushed aside.I mirror the opinions of many on here. Peter & Nikki are excellent, Martin is key. Keith has his fingers in too many pies. | stars309
11/9/2021 19:22 | KE is being paid to do a job and below is how the IOD describes it . Anyone think he is doing it well? The main features of the role of Chair are as follows:As well as being Chair of the board, they expected to act as the company's leading representative which will involve the presentation of the company's aims and policies to the outside world. To take the chair at general meetings and board meetings. With regard to the latter this will involve: the determination of the order of the agenda; ensuring that the board receives accurate, timely and clear information; keeping track of the contribution of individual directors and ensuring that they are all involved in discussions and decision-making. At all meetings the Chair should direct discussions towards the emergence of a consensus view and sum up discussions so that everyone understands what has been agreed. To take a leading role in determining the composition and structure of the board. This will involve regular reviews of the overall size of the board, the balance between executive and non-executive directors and the balance of age, experience and personality of the directors. To ensure effective communication with shareholders and, where appropriate, the stakeholders.' | seangwhite
11/9/2021 18:55 | in the meantime scosw has completely abandoned ship! explain that? | ali47fish
11/9/2021 18:38 | Never mind KE he's with ALT for the free meal ticket.Look to the big fish, what are they doing? The guys who have millions of shares. The key people at ALT have all added recently. MV, NS and PH. You can guarantee ST has bought too, he always buys. For me this is a huge sign of strength. Think about it MV 11million plus shares, ST 7million plus shares. Both adding to already substantial holdings. Why do they need to do this? Either they know a solid investment when they see one, or they feel the stock is seriously undervalued | stars309
10/9/2021 21:17 | These two ? | robbnw
10/9/2021 20:55 | Let's be kind and give him another week to find that little used cheque book before any action is taken. | seangwhite
10/9/2021 20:46 | Acting in concert these 2 own enough to mount takeover. ALTERNATIVE Mbo casting any deadwood aside That is probably why chairperson is not buying. He knows he is gone. | rampage5
10/9/2021 20:17 | Manny it's not right to criticize poor old Chairperson Keith for not being able to find his cheque book. He does need it so as to have everything in order to make a share purchase in ALT. | seangwhite
10/9/2021 20:06 | Surely not unless they owned a majority of shares | robbnw
10/9/2021 18:27 | 2 very large holders means control is not in hands of the board. These 2 get together and any price they agree on alt is private. Or MBO. | rampage5
10/9/2021 18:06 | Nice big 100k trade at close of day | robbnw
10/9/2021 18:05 | Totally agree . MV wading in despite having over 11000000 shares . Nikki also. Who knows about the other larger shareholders who arent on the board | robbnw
10/9/2021 15:44 | A few sizeable buys in the last couple of days is a really positive sign. For me the presentation brought more clarity around the business model and potential upside. | stars309
10/9/2021 12:25 | LolI'll be coming also | robbnw
10/9/2021 12:24 | He's a hard nutBut I'd say far more imp for MV and NH | robbnw |
