He's struggling with white educated women and swing state suburbs as well. Biden basically needs to avoid messing up and try and stay alive to win.

BPC10 - How are you?! You are the one that called the fall. What’s your prediction of ALT’s share price, post their September update?

Northwards - I agree with you. I made £4K betting on Trump at 4/1 the day before the result. I would not do it this time. I can see him losing.

Btw if we needed proof that Stephen1946 has absolutely lost it, we have “ BLM/ANTIFA/BLACK POWER are all giving him their support”. Yeah right!

I think trump is in trouble. He's alienated the grey vote over Covid - which was key for him in 2016. Even elements of the white WC vote are less engaged. What is true is he's lining up to dispute the result if he loses. Generals at the ready ...

Rob, given the scale of Covid in the US, we just don't know yet it's impact on the promo industry in the coming months. My timelines on this investment is 3-5 years so I am comfortable riding out this huge current challenge.

If they do do a raise, which I still think is unlikely. They will have to be extremely clear with the market about their prospects and business model. A lot more clear than they have been so far.

If there is to be any sort of fund raising it will be hard to see it getting done at any level other than a discount to the current share price The constant fuzziness from updates is worrying and would not help those arranging an equity raise.

This was a tweet by a FT Business correspondent today regarding Covid. It's my view on alt. As we continue to see record US Covid numbers, it's unlikely the US promo market will show any real signs of recovery until 2021. In fact, I'm not ruling out the need for a fund raise at some point in the next few months. So be it is my view. These are unprecedented times.'Businesses have been so disrupted that the focus is on how a company might emerge a year or two from now'

Covid is the spaniard in the works, senior!
IMMO became legless as well, yet they were building a great business,
but how do you monetise VR headsets at £5/trip if your previous user
left a spread of viruses? Impossible, but they diversify
and all one can usefully hope is that they have the cash to switch and survive.
I hope ALT are making the best of the PPE situation - that would look positive.

Interesting posts about the fundamentals at ALT but the water is so muddied
that it's a tough call. There's no doubt gov't support is vital in these times,
but IMO we're going to need quite a recovery to balance the books...if we can.

Oh well, I still have over 5,000,000,000 dollars stashed away.
Trouble is they are Zimbucks!

Final thought for this week. The trading update showed that, even if you strip out the 500k US govt grant, alt was 100k cash flow positive in the quarter to end June.
