I think the share price will do nothing over the next 3 months other than drift downwards to 18-20p. Septembers update is all about how quick things pick up for In the greater economy. If I knew the answer to that....... this share is a dead rubber until the American market comes out of lockdown and begins to grow again. My opinion is that The share Price of 18-20p will already have factored septembers update.

gjk0268 - but you didn’t answer the question I raised. You told me that my previous “target” price wasn’t going to happen, so I responded to that. (It’s interesting though that John09 predicts that number).

You gave your September pre-update SP, please let me know what you think it will be the day after the update. I am honestly very interested. I absolutely accept my prediction of 5p May not occur. Thanks.

If you don’t like someone’s answer don’t ask the question big short fella. You asked for people’s opinion. If it’s different to yours so be it. I won’t say never because If they Keep failing to deliver it will be lucky to make 5p. Once again Though my thoughts are that the acquisition will prove to be a good one. Good luck

My take having made a few calls:- real cash position is 3m (no issue about 1m deferred revenue being paid)- current cash position does not include monies from ADP sale, any annual rebates to March, nor rebates to alt from suppliers to end June.

The dangers of being wedded to a share. Says everything when even the indefatigable Stephen has exited stage left.

18-20p pre update but I can’t see it getting to Your buying figure of 5p big short fella. Looks like they will survive the COVID crisis and I will buy below 20p as I still believe the acquisition was a good one in the long term.

The real value of boards like this for me is the opportunity to use the “wisdom of the crowds”. So, let’s run a thought experiment:

First, guesstimate where the share price is in September.

Secondly, assume ALT has given its September financial update.

What’s the share price the following day?

Seangwhite - I believe the reality is that ALT don’t have anything positive to say. No increase in preferred suppliers etc. Even PT Barnum would have difficulty waxing lyrical about ALT. Obviously, I could be wrong but I foresee the share price drifting lower over July and August (why would anyone buy?) and then comes the September update. No prizes for guessing whether it will be a positive or negative one. My plan was to take a punt on ALT at a much lower price as they get clobbered for poor updates (but show signs of winning with their new model). However, at this rate, even if the share price falls far lower, it’s unlikely I will have any real insight as to whether their business model is really working or not.
