14/1/2019 10:15 | Bill, the tiered distributor levels are new and are dependent on the deal going through. | sheep_herder

14/1/2019 09:52 | There is one thing I am not getting. If all costs are paid by the supplier, why wouldn’t every distributor sign up for the best possible package, if it really costs them no more. There is something possibly missing in the presentation that explains this. I get ease of use, I use Uber, deliveroo etc etc. | billster2018
14/1/2019 09:48 | One point I’d like to mention. As sheep herder correctly says, we give the software platform for free, but for that we own all the order data. How much is that worth? This is not in the price at all. | mannymif
14/1/2019 09:25 | Bill, no personal experience but through what we've been told via ALT and what you can read about the industry, the average distributor is a small family business at best. The majority are under $1m turnover and they perform their business over the phone. There are huge advantages to using ALTs platform that you can read about in your own time. However, it is free to the distributor so there is no cost to them. They get all the CRM, order tracking, direct links to suppliers, online graphics proofing, etc, for free. It's the suppliers that get charged the percentage and they love it because it's more efficient and saves them money. | sheep_herder
14/1/2019 08:57 | Just seen the presentation and as for the deal, which looks great. if it was going badly institutions would get the feel of the deal from Finn Cap and short the stock IMO. Does anyone here have immediate experience of the promotional products industry? Is there any reason for the AIM members not to use AlT’s platform? Can they get their business done more cheaply off the platform (with a better margin to themseleves) all be it less efficiently? Also why are people talking of 20-30 multiples on earnings, once this starts working it should be on a 40 multiple like the Just Eats is this world IMO. | billster2018
14/1/2019 08:51 | Billster . I agree north of 10 pound . This could be another 4imprint and look at their SP | robbnw
14/1/2019 08:49 | I reckon we will get an update , They will need to say how much eventually raised Am i right that so far since 8am the volumes of trades is already over 100 shares | robbnw
14/1/2019 08:46 | Bill, no update this morning but someone noted that there was a new presentation up on the investor pages of the website. Gives most of the info used in the Finncap note if you haven't subscribed to get it. | sheep_herder
14/1/2019 08:40 | Morning all, I have followed the thread for a bit, but first time posting. I am a long term holder and in my opinion will sell north of £10. Did someone say that there had been an update this morning? | billster2018
14/1/2019 08:40 | North Totally agreeAnd sheep as for the excess cash yes I reckon a divi or else a share big backEither good for us investors Let's face it I'm sure MV would like a divi per share however small He has 12 m shares doesn't he The number two and three shareholders also | robbnw
14/1/2019 08:34 | Actually, there are two other points from that presentation worth highlighting. 1. The huge growth in suppliers in the last quarter. They mention that the product is attracting more and more suppliers who want a piece of the action. That's really good news as it means the choice of product is increasing and will in turn pull in more distributors (not ALT Stevie) who want variety of product for their customers. And with that sort of demand, it makes it easier to monetise the supplier side by charging for preferred status or whatever. 2. I don't think I realised how quickly the distributor (not ALT Stevie) base is growing even before AIMPro. If the product is as good as we believe, then that rate could increase further and the market opportunity might grow significantly beyond the current $1.7B. | sheep_herder
14/1/2019 08:22 | Northwards, I agree although I think the rocket will be lit towards the end of this year when the 2020 forecast is given. If you look on p.19 of the Nevada presentation, they highlight the upside from the deal as was in the Finncap note. Obviously it's dependent on the distributors (not ALT Stevie) wanting tiered membership. 2021 could see upwards of 50p EPS in my view. Also, what are they going to do with all that cash? A nice divi perhaps. | sheep_herder
14/1/2019 08:10 | I'm trying to see any negatives on last weeks deal and update - I can't. And I'm pinching myself. We are going into orbit over the coming months. | northwards
14/1/2019 07:52 | Stevie, it's not pedantic, it's fact and there's a clear distinction. If ALT were a distributor they'd have much higher costs, lower margins and no where near the free cash flow we are predicting. You continually post non truths and stubbornly can't accept when you're wrong. | sheep_herder
14/1/2019 00:00 | John This is a very different ballgame my friend We have just moved up to the big league | robbnw
13/1/2019 23:10 | I no longer predict share price movements for ALT given we’ve basically moved sideways forever it seems lol | john09
13/1/2019 22:52 | I particularly enjoyed the following: stephen194612 Jan '19 - 19:05 - 1507 of 1554 0 0 0 Positivism itself, that is me. Aherrm. I nearly had to change my trousers. | kemche
13/1/2019 22:49 | And I can always spot a disingenuous turncoat. | kemche
13/1/2019 22:27 | I expect Altitude to do rather well on Monday and thereafter. Directors buying always attracts a lot of attention. Indeed I can always spot a PEDANTIC SOUL. | stephen1946
13/1/2019 22:24 | 1535 well put SH, hopefully Stephen will recognise the distinctions you make. | fardistanthills
