Recent redemptions were:

# 5.5c in Nov/Dec'16
# 2.0c in Sep'16

With 5.2c in the bank; we look to be overdue release of perhaps half of that...

Bought a few at 18c last week; only a few but difficult to assess the underlying values. Still, as has been said, the discount here surely too large; whilst the run of higher lows on the chart suggests a rise to 25c quite likely...

February's update:

Another $0.2M proceeds received from portfolio disposals and another $0.3M expected soon. Pretty good going. NAV of 77 cents

True - but if they add $15m to the NAV they then charge fees based on the NAV so we could end up paying more in fees than we get back - if it takes long enough...

"We have paid $1M for a portfolio with a NAV of approximately $15M. We expect to recover $3M over the next few years"

If they expect to recover $3M in total why did they say the NAV was $15M?

They shouldnt add $15m if they say they are going to recover $3m - don't encourage that sort of behaviour !

Fact sheet for up to end Jan 2017 was released on the website yesterday.

NAV = 76.8 cents

They've agreed to sell the remaining GLG holding over the next 12 months. This will bring in 1.75 cents by my calcs.

They also say they've recently bought some assets off a liquidator. They claim to have paid $1M for $15M of NAV! They say they expect to recover $3M (2 cents per share) over the next few years and have already received $200K. It will be interesting to see if they add the $15M from this acquisition onto the total NAV of the company. If they do that would add 9 cents to NAV.

Interim results out today.

NAV of 75 cents. That's after returning 7.5 cents to shareholders over the course of the year. Discount to NAV is 78%.

They say they will make a further return of cash once they make another disposal. However they have net cash of about $7M (4.5 cents) so not sure why they cannot make an immediate distribution of 1-2 cents?

The November fact-sheet is on the website. They seem to put them online on a couple of months delay. NAV of 76 cents with 2 of the smaller positions increasing in value by $1 million. NAV holding up very well so far which bodes well.

I'd say so. The whole point of this company is to liquidate the assets and return cash to shareholders so yes, we should expect them shortly to return the $2.5M (1.7c) they recently received.
