An even bigger chunk of cash from directors i.e. over 2.5m shares at 131.92p. That should add to investor confidence although at times I wonder what really would do that!.

Noted from a post above that the company is seeking an authority to buy back shares and has sought and, in the context of the directors and founders, obtained a waiver from the takeover Panel re making/having to make a bid for the whole company.
To quote.
"It is noted that the Company already has, and since its IPO has had, the benefit of authorities equivalent to the Buyback Authority and Rule 9 Waiver Resolution, as documented in paragraph 21 of Part XIX of the IPO Prospectus.

What is beings ought in the Buyback Authority and the Rule 9 Waiver Resolution is essentially a renewal of those existing authorities. It is noted that the Company already has, and since its IPO has had, the benefit of authorities equivalent to the Buyback"

Obviously, unutilised last year but it is an instrument that could be used at some stage, as I understand it.

I'm holding long-term and adding from time to time. The downside risk is limited given good products, high growth, giant cash pile, and hammered share price, whereas the upside is huge when you consider that their main competitors have market caps in the tens of billions. These sorts of opportunities are where you make all your money.

I'm still holding in there!! down 27.3% for me,looking at the rest of my portfolio that apparently aint to bad..... You either believe the product/company will come good or you dont.My strategy is always to do the numbers and research, if I'm invested then I feel confident my shares will come good.If only that strategy was always right!!!

Top ups with this stock is just trying to catch the proverbial falling knife. Any bounces in the US are being sold into aggressively and the recession hasn't even hit yet

You can't fight the markets, however much potential this has its exactly the wrong type of stock to be in for these market conditions unfortunately. They already say trade the market you find not the market you think it should be? I'm starting to think it might be better to preserve capital and stay out of this until it all blows over as this could be a long long haul to share price recovery

Tech shares in meltdown on the Nasdaq. Not a good omen for tmrw. I hope this is not bookham tech and Baltimore all over again as distinctly recall bullish arguments about growth being said on those at the time. Massive potential and sky high valuation and look how it ended

Following on from Alsayagh comment yesterday, Tiger Global has indeed disappeared or closed its short.( sometimes once below 0.5% the tracking companies do not bother to track or report). Overall the total short position is now 2.6%.

Actually, I saw a further small business announcement on the Alphawave IP investor page this morning. I pasted it below for anyone interested. The last company reply to FADAB at least shows they do understand and respond to investor concerns! So life is out there somewhere!

A reply from the company;
Thank you for your note. Yes as you saw with our trading update we continue to perform and beat expectations. We have briefed all of the analysts that cover our stock over the last 48 hours and they were all impressed and supportive. All of them still maintain a buy/overweight rating and price targets 100-205% higher than our current price.

2021 was a great year for this company with nearly a quarter billion dollars of bookings. We are working on many more exciting things for 2022 and will be announcing these to the market as we can.

We will continue to execute but as one of the most shorted stocks on the LSE, it will take time to get these shorts out and for the stock price to properly reflect the value and prospects for the company.
