You are a cheeky sonso . The company is still listed for a reason. It's all speculation untill we get news from the company or someone steps in.

Ok so I will have to spell this out for the challenged
They are worthless and have been for a long time.
They had a FX / hedge that they repeatedly tried to hide the impact of - probably because they did not understand it, eventually it wrecked the company.
Every property they realise for cash goes to the bank.
There should be zero for shareholders, there should not be any widows or orphans thinking of buying even £1 worth, so to stop that happening it should be de-listed.

There is an onus on limited companies to cease trading when they are known insolvent - these obviously enjoy the support of the bank as everything they sell goes to the bank - but as a listed company they may still attract some attention from say widows and orphans and we dont want that do we ?

oilbuy - - I am aware they are selling the portfolio for the bank - the question was not why are'nt they liquidated - but why not de-listed.

That was the question I asked myself about 2 years ago before I started building a stake, these trades are flash/day traders trying to make 7-10% although this has had 3/4 days now of small buys. I'm waiting for the 10m plus trades to hit to know that this is being taken seriously.

If the bank have agreed the company to sell the assets instead of appointing a receiver to them , then they might have agreed a deal. Bottom line the bank get more money if the assets are sold privately. Maybe a deal has been cut to wipe the debt. The bank doesn't gain anything from liquidating the company. So in essence a reward for working with the bank.

The only "something" that is happening is an attempt by a not-very-good ramper to push this, in the hope that a few people are daft enough to be suckered into buying, while the ramper sells out. What a pathetic way to make a few quid.
