13/4/2021 23:17 | Do US trades get reported on LSE? | pretax2
13/4/2021 21:16 | Today was a good day of consolidation, nobody should expect daily rises like we have had over the last few sessions. I think we are now about ready to make a significant move upwards. I think the remainder of this week will be pivotal in the Alpha story as we progress towards big news | baghdaddy2018
13/4/2021 20:47 | What about the 871k reported at the end of the day. That must have been a buy looking at the time of trade. | garykc
13/4/2021 20:01 | Can't rush news if it's not there ... the sellers can't sell again so let them eat cake. ;o) | onedayrodders
13/4/2021 19:32 | It was a sell, I had a quote, just after, at 14:21 5.1220/5.2644. On the day, correcting all the errors on ADVFN's trades list, we came out about even with about 3 million shares both bought and sold. | gilesfitzh
13/4/2021 19:18 | It's delayed at mid, it's only 650k so not worth worrying about, quite alot of selling pressure today, we could do with some news tomorrow or we may see the mms trying a shake, we are certainly due one as we have doubled the share price in a short time.Much prefer 2-4% a week than the 100% we have seen over these last few days but that fault lies with the useless mms. | 7rademark
13/4/2021 17:31 | 14:19:37 looks like a buy | russ505
13/4/2021 16:22 | Was that 650,000 trade delayed - if so, from when? | 801710245
13/4/2021 14:52 | 50 now ;o) | astubbs67602
13/4/2021 13:57 | About 40 quid !! | 801710245
13/4/2021 13:47 | Did you actually make any money on that 801, lol. | 7rademark
13/4/2021 13:46 | ...oh, and it seems to have nudged the offer up a smidge. | 801710245
13/4/2021 13:45 | Thought I'd take advantage of the recent trading pattern... Sold 45,000 at 5.33 this morning, just bought 50000 at 5.184. :o ) | 801710245
13/4/2021 13:21 | Hopefully same pattern as last few days where midday sellers hand off to PM buyers | onedayrodders
13/4/2021 13:06 | This is definitely a re-rating as opposed to an over-zealous trading spike. With more news in the offing I have no idea where the new trading range might be. Sometime shares do go up in a straight line eg SBTX. At least for a while. | pretax2
13/4/2021 12:47 | Any guesses if today's chart will follow Friday & Monday.....fingers crossed! | astubbs67602
13/4/2021 12:45 | Always risks, as stated earlier the fsa here have killed the sector with their unethical stance. | 7rademark
13/4/2021 11:54 | Completely disagree with that I'm afraid, unless there's suddenly a cure for all disease, smoking is eradicated and life expetancy rises by 5 years, all extremely unlikely, as with the bookies the software and analysis they use means even breaking even is highly highly unlikely, of course the fund can be mismanaged but the regulations in place will prevent even that. The only question is how much money will they make imo. | 7rademark
13/4/2021 10:36 | The spread shown at the top of most BBs (i.e. 5.20/5.50 atm) is not the 'real' spread. If you get a quote online you'll find it's about 5.21/5.29 atm. | gilesfitzh
13/4/2021 10:15 | Order filling perhaps | pretax2
13/4/2021 09:32 | Why such large spreads again .15 over asking price not very inviting, share is not in volatile state..... | astubbs67602
13/4/2021 09:27 | Mdchand. Insurance companies are very good at working out life expectancy based on health data from millions of people. Lots of algorithms- add in the 10-15% discount, your gain, and there we have it. The bigger the fund, the less variance in average longevity, and the more stable your fund. The RCF can’t come soon enough. | pretax2
13/4/2021 09:26 | ALGW/SLIM have a team of very experienced actuaries who assess each policy offered for sale. Medical histories are a matter of record in the US where the average life expectancy has risen from 70 in 1960 to 78 in 2018 so the actuaries have all the relevant info. they need to make a valuation. The secondary/tertiary Life settlement market in the US is worth $trillions whereas in the UK most Life policies are term to match Mortgages so few people have Life Policies which they can sell. I questioned GS on this very subject some time ago and he said that for their calculations to be upset every policyholder would have to live many years beyond 100. | gilesfitzh
13/4/2021 09:24 | Which is why ALGW use the best actuarial data and have one of the best on the market working for them with that data | baghdaddy2018 |
