08/8/2020 14:26 | deccer1 Your claim.. "Sounds like they touted the new fund to family offices but there were no takers so they are having to fathom out how to market it somewhere else." 'No takers' - what a surprise... All types of households purchase life insurance, but coverage amounts vary by family size and income level. Consumers tend to purchase term life as income replacement or to guarantee a mortgage payoff or college funding. They purchase permanent life products predominately to cover end-of-life expenses. Why would family office investors, who have wealth running into hundreds of millions of dollars, be bother with them. May be to aide wealth transfer to heirs, but there are more tax efficient ways. What's for sure is they're not going to struggle with a mortgage, college fees or paying for their funeral are they? Clearly the new fund not geared for this type of investor, more for large fund manangers looking for non-correlated exposure I'd say. | pretax2
08/8/2020 13:44 | They don't have 'several funds' they have one fund, namely the BOAGF, and for that they have not disclosed wHether they managed to get any more subscribers after launch and how much under management it now comprises. The Income Fund has not yet got any subscribers AND is still pre launch. And that's it. Nothing else. With the end of their reporting year drawing close and cash bring low, they will no doubt need a dilutive placing for the accounts to show them as a going concern. A placing is also signalled by the switch to Proactive for the PR chats. | deccer1
08/8/2020 12:45 | deccer1 They’ve only just announced it, one of several funds in their portfolio. Give ‘em a chance. | pretax2

07/8/2020 15:08 | 1.2m delayed buy, what are the mms playing at here | 7rademark
07/8/2020 08:59 | Up goes mbo again, another contract with future revenue written in, unless the mms raise the share price as the free float reduces that's exactly what will happen here. | 7rademark
07/8/2020 07:25 | I agree Mick. Of course August is the quietest month for the market, with many key money people on holiday. Late September to December should see some important news dropping here, till then, I’ll continue to lock and load as funds allow 🤠 | pretax2
06/8/2020 22:15 | The more I research this company and the people involved, their connections, the industry they are in and the potential of this investment, the more I think this is a massive golden ticket. I don’t think there are many stocks out there on the main market with so much potential to multibag within the short to medium term. GLA | mick sturbs
06/8/2020 11:14 | sharetalk Danny has purchased all his 1.06% share capital: 750k 17.09.2018 placing RNS 750k 30.04.2019 proposed placing RNS 666.667k 29.05.2020 director share purchase RNS perhaps the next one will be performance related! | howmanyfools
06/8/2020 07:45 | At the time of the last Annual Report at 31/8/19 he was detailed as holding 1,500,000 shares so presumably he acquired more sometime between then and his appointment in 2018 but there doesn't seem to be an RNS. | tell sid
05/8/2020 20:29 | Re Danny Swick's shareholding, can anyone clarify: If DS's reported purchases below = 666,667 + 750,000 = 1,416,667 29/05/20 - Danny Swick: Bought 666,667 @ 1.5p, Now holding 2,166,663 (1.06%) 17/09/18 - Danny Swick: Bought 750,000 @ 2p, Now holding 750,000 (0.59%) When did he purchase or get awarded what must have been another 750,000 shares, to make his total holding up to the 2,166,667 (1,416,667 + 750,000) reported on 29/5/20? | sharetalk
05/8/2020 13:13 | I was just thinking they said they would reformat their website soon and presumably that would include reference to the forthcoming new Income and Growth Fund, plus Seperate Managed Accounts, so presumably it implies there could soon be news on those two fronts, as there would be little point in changing the website without reference to those offerings. | tell sid
05/8/2020 11:18 | This looks really interesting. | hodhasharon
05/8/2020 10:11 | I’ve taken 500k shares in the last week. There is stock around as I bought this morning just above mid. | highly geared
05/8/2020 09:55 | Nice one Mick. Me too and a few more all ISA wrapped. So between us that’s 1% off the free float table. | pretax2
05/8/2020 08:38 | That’s kind of what I’m thinking trademark. Got my million shares, just need the business to take off. Patience required. Good luck all | mick sturbs
05/8/2020 08:32 | Or invest 20k pounds. Today. And sell at 100p for a cool 1m pounds. That would be nice. | 7rademark
05/8/2020 08:30 | 2p to 100p is 4900% | 7rademark
05/8/2020 07:44 | 100p is indeed a possibility it's just a matter of getting sufficient assets under management. They can manage reliable returns that put most other fund managers to shame so success is virtually guaranteed. | city chappy
05/8/2020 07:31 | The Black Oak AGF started with $15m seed capital last year from a private investment firm and there will have been more subscribers since then. They are going to start an Income + Growth fund soon underpinned with an insurance policy, as well as private managed accounts for individuals and family offices, and managed accounts for institutions. The $100m short term credit facility is progressing. It all means cumulative 'sticky' revenues. When it takes off it will really rocket, so get in now. The snowball is already starting to roll. | tell sid
05/8/2020 07:19 | Tewk Well to put it another way, the snowball is currently very small but it’s at the top of a mountain. It needs a shove and that’s going to come from news of deals. So far we’ve been served up jam tomorrow, but it’s evident things are happening in the background. News ought to come towards the end of Sept/Oct according to GS. I expect the share price to be over 2p by then. GL all. PT | pretax2 |
