Or (hopefully unlikely), a flop from Federated to rival the previously as starred Spin Memory.

I would be very disappointed with anything less than £1. Only real way I see that happening is if it gets taken out on the cheap.

Well I have been very critical of this company in the past and when one looks at the money down the drain there has been some significant poor management . However I genuinely believe the company is now left with only a few investments but all of them are looking attractive and all in high growth attractive areas. I am surprised with a stated policy of no new investments and a mandate to monetise the portfolio on a relatively short timetable that the shares trade at such a discount but unfortunately the messaging from the company is hardly inspirational...VC type returns ..from when and timescale? Doesnt set the blood racing! Think the costs too high still and the management are poor communicators.Far better look at the Numis research ..info obviously fed by the company but one can see much more clarity in terms of some delivery. Expecting multiples of their current nav estimate of 46p. So they are looking at many multiples of current share price with key inflection points over the next few months. So monetisation or more likely decent up round fundings leading to revaluations which must be imminent from that take.If one took a multiple of just 1 on 46p gets you to 92p stated aim is to wind it up by end 2023 but obviously one would expect at least one exit within 12 months if that timetable is deliverable. One would be looking at a 400% return over 2 years. No advise intended and not a puffer just interpreting the shop comments into some numbers.Hope they are right if so we should be getting a flavour before the end of the year i guess.I'm a believer2 !!

Yes not sure if they are leaping at the Biotech legend that is Harry..still pending?OcuTerra TherapeuticsOcuTerra Therapeutics, Inc., is a clinical stage ophthalmology drug development company focused on treating diabetic retinopathy earlier to preserve vision and avoid intravitreal injections, has now completed an additional close of its Series B funding round at $31.5m - an increase of $16.9m on the $14.6m first close announced on 28 April 2021 and has a post-money valuation of $48.9m. Harry Rein's appointment to the Board of the company is pending, and in the meantime he is responsible for liason between the company and Allied Minds. Harry Rein will also bring to the Board extensive life sciences experience. The board under Harry valued the company at zero and failed to back fundraise.Meanwhile this minnow is the new Chair of OcuTerra not entirely sure he will need Harrys help to be fair.Mr. Saunders, Chairman of our Board of Directors, has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of healthcare and has been in leadership roles at several prominent global pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Until May 2020, when it was acquired by AbbVie Inc.in a transaction valued at approximately $63 billion, Mr. Saunders served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Allergan plc. His role as President and Chief Executive Officer of Allergan began in July 2014 and his added role of Chairman began in October 2016. Mr. Saunders first role as an executive officer in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sectors began in 2003, as a member of the executive management team at Schering-Plough Corporation, where he held several key roles, including President of the company's Global Consumer Health Care division. While at Schering-Plough, Mr. Saunders led the integrations of the company's $14 billion acquisition of Organon Biosciences N.V in 2007 as well as the merger between Schering-Plough and Merck & Co., Inc. in 2009. From March 2010 until August 2013, Mr. Saunders served as Chief Executive Officer of Bausch + Lomb Incorporated, a leading global eye health company, until its acquisition by Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2013. He then became the Chief Executive Officer of Forest Laboratories Inc., a role he held until the company's merger with Actavis plc in 2014. Following the merger with Actavis, Mr. Saunders was named Chief Executive Officer of the combined business. In 2015, he led Actavis' acquisition of Allergan, renaming the combined company Allergan Plc.?

Federated Wireless as the leading Spectrum Sharing technology platform is seeking to put itself front and centre in a secondary market for WISPs to access CBRS to maximise their offering in internet connectivity especially in more remote areas. They are putting themselves and their technology forward as industry standard i guess..if adopted widely they move further away from being a commodity product?Looks punchy and already have an adopter in Frontier Communications (mkt cap $6.7B) ..feels like a company on the front foot.

Thats kind thanks. Trying to do a better job that the company !! :)Well worth looking at https://ocuterratx.com/ website it really does have a lot of potential as is addressing a large and growing market.. particularly look at the cv of the Chair he is one of the biggest hitters in US Pharmaceuticals..still slightly early days but could be a decent uplift once the opportunity is packaged right. Considering AM board gave up on it ,it's like finding a £20 down the back of the sofa! No sign of our chairman joining the board as promised but since AM didn't back the raise not entirely sure on what grounds they feel they deserve representation.I note on the websites of Orbital Sidekick and BridgeComm there is still no sign of our directors in the leadership profiles though we're told they are on the board.

They're certainly an interesting read, and good to see Bridgecomm and orbital sidekick adding to the obvious potential of federated wireless.
Please keep them coming :-)

Sunday Times..Space the hot to trot sector. We have Orbital sidekick and BridgeComm..i reckon Orbital already could command a decent premium over last recent fundraise..BridgeComm hasn't raised new equity for a few years and again one would hope that its laser comms solutions developed for satellites communications put it in two hot sectors British founder Will Marshall takes on Bezos and Musk in satellite wars...."The impending market debut of San Francisco-based Planet is the latest of a flurry of private space firms that have gone public or raised vast sums amid a surge in investor interest. Jeff Bezos and Sir Richard Branson both flew into lower Earth orbit recently with their respective space tourism ventures. Will Marshall, 43, has agreed to float Planet via a reverse merger with a special-purpose acquisition company (Spac) in a move that will value the firm at $2.8 billion (£2 billion) and infuse it with nearly $600m in new capital.".....https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/british-founder-will-marshall-takes-on-bezos-and-musk-in-satellite-wars-5lb66gc0g

Seems Federal business is the big player in shared spectrum networks..with budgets and indications of further site roll outs in the Dept of defence where the big bucks are , I’d imagine much of the anticipated revenue jump this year ..estimated $17m ( up from $3m?) will be down to Fed pockets. Interesting that this is likely the beta testing for combinations of technology cos like Federated Wireless to roll out commercial solutions to big networks?
Much of FW is software orientated so hopefully relatively easily scaleable business model?

Added a few on the Numis comments..if there are some fund raises that not only underline the valuation of the company's holdings but increase them through independent investment i can see a significant narrowing of the discount to the new hard NAV figure. So the hard Nav boosted up from current 46P estimate and maybe a halving of the discount on some positive comment over a few months...so I'd be looking strongly into the 30s or higher if things pan out. Also i think that if these fundings are arranged and the company is able to protect its position without too much capital commitment it may well open up the possibility of a much more aggressive buyback.Personal view and no advise intended.

I agree- next major news point should be the closing of Federated's funding round. That will either be a damp-squib, or it just might substantially surprise on the upside.
Yesterday's announcement had very , very little new news- but I guess that is unsurprising given the Board's track record to date. Be interesting to see if Crystal Amber weigh in again
