Soectoacc I’m not sure you do keep the voting rights when you convert to a CFD.

On same terms as just over a year ago - not sure that says much for progress/valuation, but at least some strong co-investors:

"Spin Memory raises $8.25 million in additional Series B funding

Allied Minds plc (LSE: ALM, "the Group"), the IP commercialisation company focused on early stage technology businesses, announces that its portfolio company, Spin Memory ("Spin"), the leading MRAM developer, today secured $8.25 million in additional Series B funding on the same terms as the last closing in April 2019.

Allied Minds committed $4.0 million to the round. The Group invested alongside existing investors, Arm, Applied Ventures and Abies Ventures, who collectively committed the remaining $4.25 million. Following this investment, Allied Minds' ownership of Spin's issued share capital is 43.01%; 33.98% on a fully-diluted basis.

The funding will support Spin's continued research for MRAM as it continues to explore new discoveries and advances to bring SRAM-like MRAM to the market. As DRAM and SRAM are hitting scaling and efficiency limits, demand for a novel, memory alternative is rapidly growing and with this funding, Spin is working to bring MRAM's potential to reality to meet this market need. You've hot to laugh - a small spike upwards and a price monitor RNS appears

Valid point - the numbers work better at DLAR, where CRS did the same/IMO incorrectly RNS'd the same.

If you've converted to CFD (which they have) you've still got the voting rights.

I'm not sure. Only 3 odd % for crystal. Maybe they took the rest for themselves. Equally if crs have carried that % on a cfd via intertrader then they can't announce a 3% reduction

Surprised they haven't corrected the InterTrader RNS, the beneficial owner still being CRS.

Butterfield I've no idea.

InterTrader RNS doesn't even name a proxy holder.

Nada still regarding butterfield and intertrader. 12.75% for intertrader and 10.3%for butterfield. Where did these shares come from ? Invesco holding 18.4% is plausible. But they are obliged to announce any reduction.

Whats the explanation for butterfield ?

Done some more digging & @kooba is correct - there's no change to CRS's holdings with these transactions apparently. So no new shareholder, no CRS sale.

It's clear as mud, but if InterTrader were holding on behalf of CRS, that would be reflected in the RNS.

Emailed the co, but not expecting a response.

They will be yes. Alm should still check who the nominee is held by and announce

Butterfield possibly just a custodian so no need for RNS...maybe Invesco parking them there...either way someone needs to come along and mop up all these weak or distressed holders - and get themselves a bargain. And put us long suffering shareholders out of our misery.

It's all a bit strange. But looks like a cfd move from Amber to Inter. Inter possibly taking the rest from Investco. Also noticed today butterfield bank hold 10.3%. This has not been rns'd and I wonder where these shares came from. Again a guess would be investco. We should find out tomorrow. Possibly investco out.

Wasn't a rights at DLAR was open offer so entitlement non transferable...so if you don't subscribe you lose the value.Looks like they have been rejigging holdings to free up liquidity to take up DLAR at 125p rather than lapse no value. With Intertrader holding they might have transferred into cfd structure to free up cash rather than selling ?Though holdings don't tally. No evidence of big seller on dates shown .

Backing the wrong horse if so IMO. Struggled with most of their picks (ex ALM) pre-Covid, can't say the likes of HUR, EQLS, REDD (former Northgate) or DLAR look any better now.

ALM NAV likely over 90p, DLAR looks like hubris to avoid getting diluted.

Edit - tho just spotted CRS reduced DLAR stake from 19% to 13%, reported on 3rd July? Wonder what's going on?

Oh yes, missed that. CRS did buy some in the sell-off (eg added just over 1% in mid-March, another 1%+ in late March), but them selling again is big news. They've got their nominee on the Board after all.

Wonder if a falling out, and hence the 37% against the remuneration report? Very surprised to see CRS cutting, when the share price miles below NAV, and Federated seem to be making progress. Do CRS really see better value in their other, naff, picks? HUR? DLAR? NTG?

Funding DLAR RI?

No idea... Notably, some has been acquired from Crystal Amber. Were Crystal Amber buying all the way down during the liquidity sell off in March? If not, they’ve crystallised a loss on that shareholding.

Inter Trader Limited - a CFD co? Who's the beneficial owner? How have they acquired 12% on the quiet, while the share price has been on the slide?
