NTA tomorrow will be more than today's figure as nasdaq up about 2% . but discount likely to remain in these uncertain times and bond yields might determine future direction. so might see about 2740 or so for ATT tomorrow if nasdaq index holds up ,
these tech trusts just for trading I guess lately with SMT the best as by far the most liquid

should be a good start for tech trusts today as nasdaq futures moves higher on back of falling bond yields although that can change quite quickly . A pity the NTA figures are not released early in day !

almost trading at NTA at the moment . Stupidly I bought PCT this morning and what a laggard it is but hoping it might move higher later today ! well done to those still holding ATT .

It does seem to have been sold off disproportionally @coppertrader and based on Fridays NAV is currently at a £4 discount (circa 14%):

Allianz Technology Trust PLC announces that at close of business 05 March 2021:

excluding shares held in treasury:

1) the capital only net asset value per ordinary share was 2828.12p and
2) the cum-income net asset value per ordinary share was 2803.85p.

Current Morningstar estimated discount is 9%

nasdaq catching up has kept profit takers away and AAT up more in % terms than even SMT ! PCT still the laggard !

yes , still holding up even though nasdaq not doing as well as the other US indices such as dow and Russell 2000 . Certainly no reason to sell until intra day chart suggests it is smart to do so . good luck

12730 is chart support level for nasdaq and at 12845 it is not far away . Just maybe the nasdaq did finally hit top at recent all time high and increasing yields on bonds is a concern I gue

Over the last couple of days I have halved my SMT and this morning sold the PCT I bought earlier this week because I am a bit nervous that the tech stocks probably are at their highest. I still hold ATT for personal reasons. That's just my opinion of course and you may have a different view. I will probably invest more in the UK in the coming months.

also , not a bad idea to see how US markets go when physical opens at 2.30pm as
quite often it is really volatile after opening and especially the DOW which can swing 200 points over 3 minutes !

always make any move to buy until after that time on thursday and friday . I mainly do day trades using CFDs .

do you mean SMT ? Maybe not smart to have too many eggs in one basket as you get really hit if tech indices plunged . At the moment , they are consolidating for a few days after the recent fall . All US indices picking up after the figures from USA at 1.30pm and alw

studying masdaq chart again I notice there has not yet been a lower low on pullbacks in the medium term uptrend which is good news . So technically still in uptrend IMO .

risky as chart suggests nasdaq index is struggling to recover and overnight rally on futures has petered out . But PCT is safest one i guess as always has a wide discount to NAV

I'm holding ATT & PCT but chose to add more PCT yesterday as they are priced at a discount to NAV and a wider spread of investments including Asia. Hopefully not to early getting back into PCT. Had EWI but Sold too early sadly.

I read the report but happy to hold for long term. Great track record and I hold this together with PCT and EWI .
