I recently put some money on BXP (generic medicines), pleased with progress so far,
but share price still well below where it should be for this fast growing company.
PE-Ratio stands ridiculously low, IMO. Some invested here in APH might be interested in BXP's progress. But as always, DYOR.

I had an interesting response from the company about the CEO cashing his options and offloading the vast majority of his shares.
Apparently the CEO knows nothing more about the fortunes of the company than a private investor and we should draw no conclusions from his complete exit from any paid for investment in the company he leads.

If the CEO knows as much as me, WTF is he doing and why are we paying him?

Lies like this annoy me - the whole tone of the reply was patronising.

If he sold because of a divorce or something else on those lines... reason for sale as "family reasons" or similar would have been OK

All we have now is a CEO who has traded out of the company he leads leaving some "profit" invested.

The CEO exercised a bucket load of options a few days ago and dumped most of the shares on the market
Good to see that he left a few invested (out of his profits)
As he has all the inside information it does suggest that exit would be a good idea

Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the international healthcare group, announces that it has received notice that on 7 October 2019, Peter Butterfield, Chief Executive Officer of Alliance, exercised unapproved share options over 3,137,546 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") under the Company's Share Option Plans. The average exercise price was 34.5 pence.

Following the exercise, on 7 October 2019, Mr Butterfield sold 2,791,546 Ordinary Shares at a price of 73.5 pence per share. Following these transactions, Mr Butterfield's total beneficial interest in the Group is 374,376 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.07 per cent. of the Group's issued share capital.

and another big trade. Whatever is happening can't be complete as there should be an RNS.

Part of it may be a feature article in Shares mag with a buy note. Nothing in it we didn't know but still a full page buy rec.

This is pretty standard stuff - it is where APH get their products from :)
They are all sole supply agreements . Nothing unusual or strange about it. APH will come out of this clean but they have been included to compel them to hand over documents.

They sold sole distribution rights to a particular product, the buyer raised the price of that product instantly by hundreds %, without competition fears. Who took away the competition fears... Taking into account that APH specializes in the distribution of niche products, why sell that particular niche product with an 'undertaking' not to compete...? My understanding/interpretation is that the Investigation is looking into the latter...., but I could be wrong. High time we hear an outcome!

If they were fined 100% of revenue it would be 200k...APH were pretty clear. They have been wholesaling and dont set the resale price

BTW Bbird I now have enough capital gain to pay for my summer holidays for 6 next summer. two weeks all inclusive in the sun.

It isn't lightening but 132% Sp growth in 5 years

20% annualised total return over 5 years versus 6.29% for the FT100 - i know what I would go for :) (data from Morningstar)

Solid company , good results. Nice to have something like this in the portfolio with a divi which will grow over the years. Like their exposure to rapidly growing Far Eastern markets where the potential for a few of their products is massive.

Good set of numbers. Good revenue and profit growth. Falling debt and a 10% divi hike.
