I just increased my long by 4,000 per point. Looking extremely promising going by the buys so far and future prospects. Do not let these idiot shorters win and just keep averaging down at every opportunity.

These are the same idiot red tickers that constantly deramped Stella Diamonds before they got taken over, and a lot had lost a lot of money selling out for a fraction to what they could of had.

These guys get it wrong every time in my experience.

To many now are voting anything positive down. As they are trying to cover their shorts at the greatest profit possible and to then buy in at less than the placing price.
Hopefully shorting will be made illegal oneday in the future, and then the valuation on shares like ALBA will explode.

Not at all as the welsh gold is worth well over 1p a share in the long term to ALBA. Also the last time ALBA had a placing they had more than doubled at one stage.

In my opinion these shares are completely worthless. Anyone buying shares in this has to accept the fact they are facing an interminable series of massively dilutive placings into the foreseeable future.

Fantastic news to get the placing out at the current bid price.
I have added £250 to my spread bet account this morning just to cover the 0.02p hit on the bid price. However any rise on the bid will enable me to increase my long.

Alba, along with MDZ, are the placing kings of the London markets. They just never fail to deliver a massively dilutive placing. Of course you need copious amounts of jam to entice investors into coughing up for the directors salaries decade after decade. I had to laugh at this bit;

They try to make out that is a positive! Ask yourselves why no-one, in modern times, has ever bothered to perform an exploration program within Clogau-St David's Mine!

Bad or what. I got 0.3 for some just after the gold news but it’s been downhill since. Alba has always done well for me and some great spikes on here. It might be headed for 0.15 or so now though..angs tanked heavily today and the shares are obviously very linked through HH. Will be a buyer if we do see that sort of weakness here

I knew it was the last chance to go long at 0.23p, and now so glad I did.

An article published this weekend in the "North Wales Weekly News" says that the recent gold samples analysed by Alba are higher grade than any other ever found!!
