Dont understand shareholder mentality here, directors buy shares above the market price showing future faith in the company and investors sell at a lower price even after news that ANGS has been able to bring forward it's programme??????

Angus starting to improve after AGM and RNS so confidence in Alba should return

Buying has already started

someone sold 7 million on the Nex market early on so I think they will be slighty sorry now

Hopefully if brexit ends the stock market might find a return to favour.

Don't understand investors mentality here, directors have bought shares above the market price putting their own money into the company (now there's confidence for you), yet others are selling because success isn't happening overnight.

Exactly bob directors wouldn't buy shares above market price unless there is something ahead. They would be done for insider dealing if they bought at or below IHMO. Same in Lidco old CEO loaded his pension with shares so there's confidence in the future of the company share price.

market will spike when the subscription is allocated, then retrace when the market readjusts due to more shares in issue due to per earnings per share, this will give a weaker m/cap. dyor

The directors can't immediately sell the shares for profit because the market value is below what they paid, and secondly it shows director confidence in the company putting their own money into the company.

No he is just thick ... 1) it was a subscription and not a placing 2) It was carried out at a premium to the market price at the time 3)You need to understand the difference as one is dilution for needed funds at nearly always a lower rate to the share price at the time and the other is a director allowance

the recent placing, could of been avoided if the directors had brought on the open market !

what a load of tosh indeed.
Directors buy shares and then sell straight away for a profit.
Not likely to happen.
What does "may off been better" mean ?

what a load of tosh, the recent directors deal will flood the market "further dilution"

may off been better if the company had brought back the shares on the open market ! for cancellation.

Basically 2 directors just the company £45k for £35k's worth of shares. Great news and well done could easily have took them at lower level. Money goes straight into company bank account too!

Directors must be amazed...three positive rns statements in two days and the share price hardly moves. Even if brexit gets sorted it could take a while for the markets to get back to normal.
