sqiresquire, I agree with most of your post 3200.

Interested in this paragraph:-

"They are working not just in oil and gas in the UK, but in an old mine in Greenland known to have produced 340,000 thousand ounces of gold. They also, and this is the gem, have a licence over minerality rich in Graphene. This is really exciting as it is just next to JAY ( Blue Jay Mining ) who have very recently discovered the planets most pure Ilmenite resource."

They have graphite at Amitsoq but it is ilmenite at Thule.

"Alba has been granted an exclusive mineral exploration licence covering 384 km² of prospective coastline in the Thule province of north-west Greenland.

· Black heavy mineral sands have been recorded in the region for many decades. The sands are enriched with ilmenite and/or magnetite.

· The grade of the active beaches in the region is high - up to 60% - with a historic average of about 43% TiO2. Raised beaches have a larger tonnage potential but lower titanium values - up to 23% TiO2 with an average around 12%...

...GEUS has recently estimated that 10 billion tonnes of ilmenite exist in the original rock within the entire region, with a further 7 billion tonnes of ilmenite present in the form of placer ilmenite. While non-JORC compliant, this highlights the potential of the province to host economic detrital ilmenite on Alba's licence.

· Alba has secured 100 per cent ownership of this project at no cost to shareholders other than modest due diligence review costs and the fee for licence grant.

I think Alba is a very exciting company!

good post squire.
my investment is for the graphite of which is in cricital supply, graphene tech stocks has a larger m/cap due to order books being filled,at the moment research in the medicle world of science, for usage of graphene will be a giant step for mankind.

forward assay results from alba minerals should propel the share price, production should give the share price some substance.pending placeings consolidation & mm manouvers.

It is simply mind boggling that ALBA languishes at market cap of just 10 million. UKOG has a market cap of over 250 million, it is crazy. If you look at ALBAs very well picked choice assets the penny begins to drop. But I suspect few have.

They are working not just in oil and gas in the UK, but in an old mine in Greenland known to have produced 340,000 thousand ounces of gold. They also, and this is the gem, have a licence over minerality rich in Graphene. This is really exciting as it is just next to JAY ( Blue Jay Mining ) who have very recently discovered the planets most pure Ilmenite resource.

Alba holds interests in the UK onshore oil & gas exploration sector, plus hard rock exploration assets in Greenland (Graphite), Mauritania (Uranium) and Ireland (Base Metals). We intend to deliver shareholder value by developing these assets and also look to invest in other natural resource opportunities we identify as being able to deliver positive returns and value to shareholders.

Alba owns 15% of HHDL, which owns 65% of the Horse Hill licences (PEDL 137 and PEDL 246) in the Weald Basin in Surrey which host the HH-1 oil discovery well (the "Licences"), or a 9.75% attributable interest in the Licences.

Alba also has a direct 5% interest in Production Licence 235, which comprises the producing onshore Brockham Oil Field.

Alba owns a 90 per cent interest in the Amitsoq Graphite Project in Southern Greenland.

The current industrial uses of graphite include steel, refractories, brake lining and other automotive products. The expected largest growth area is associated with lithium ion batteries, currently the preferred battery source for electric vehicles. According to Industrial Minerals, graphite is the second-largest input material required in lithium ion batteries by volume. Other growth areas for graphite include fuel cells, aluminium anodes, pebble-bed nuclear reactors and graphene.
The European Union and the USA have named graphite as a mineral in critical supply.

In addition to these survey areas on Amitsoq Island, which targeted graphite and Ni-PGE mineralisation, Alba also targeted two possible gold anomalies on the mainland to the south of Amitsoq Island (but within the licence area) which have been identified in the remote sensing studies Alba carried out in 2015 and which have previously been reported. These are located respectively approximately three miles east and six miles north-east of Nanortalik town. The two targets are approximately 20 kms along strike from a known former gold mine at Nalunaq (circa 340,000 ounces of gold produced to date).

Samples taken from historic workings at the Amitsoq mine were then subjected to analysis by the British Geological Survey (“BGS”) at their laboratory in Keyworth, near Nottingham. The test results demonstrate that graphitic carbon contents vary from 20.5% to 35.4%, with an overall mean graphitic carbon content of 28.7%, significantly higher than the previously reported historic average grade of 20% and higher than most reported advanced graphite projects globally. The graphite exists in various morphologies, ranging from fine-grained specular forms to large discrete crystals, to agglomerations which span areas of up to 15 mm in size.

So go figure, how on earth isnt ALBA horribly under priced at 10 million.?

Another exiting use for Graphene lol!!!!!!!!!
Chinese manufacturers claim to make bra out of graphene which 'can make your bust BIGGER'
Chinese firm Jinan Shengquan Group says that it uses graphene – a supermaterial discovered by British boffins – to produce underwear.

Graphene, a revolutionary new substance first developed at the University of Manchester, is a form of carbon just one atom thick.

However, it is 100 times stronger than steel, and can conduct heat and electricity efficiently, although nearly transparent.

The firm claims that the garments can retain heat, eliminate odours, kill bacteria and even make boobs bigger and a man perform better in bed, according to South China Morning Post
