I have it as 30M holding by Starvest.

A poster on Interactive Invester say that Starvest holds 26,000,000 shares in Alba.
Starvest in my view often has shares in small Aim shares so I don't think at this stage they will be parting with any
Just thought I would mention it .

Someone is certainly selling a load, seem to remember reading on an associated web page that this post said he was going to change direction and buy UKOG with earth shattering results for the share he was about to sell, I wonder if it is poor little Alba ??

if they did a placing they will certainly be wanting as much as they can get and I don't think it will come just yet.
Alba is still very much undervalued for the oil never mind the Graphite etc

Why shouldn't the French buy out UKOG they already own our water so why not our oil as well!!! We used to own our own pride but Blair signed that away as well.

my concern would be attracting a t/o, from the french rednecks ,as witnessed recently in the daily mail write up.... for interests in hh. ,my stance is for greenland graphite as it is in cricital suply for the green revoulution £££;££ so i brought the wife some shares t/day.allthou she has a terrible habit of biting her nails....so i hid her teeth !

Ime glad ALBA have responded today, earlier i was posting it should catch up on its proper market cap which is still only just over 10 million, a tiny pittance compared to the price they are giving UKOG. If it breaks out today or tomorrow then i think it should get to the 3-4p that will value it at a better level. Overlay the two charts and you will see exactly what i mean, the market has started to price it in but there is loads to go to catch up.

Alba holds a 15 per cent interest in Horse Hill Developments Limited, the company which has a 65 per cent participating interest and operatorship of the Horse Hill oil and gas project (licences PEDL 137 and PEDL 246) in the UK Weald Basin. Alba also has a direct 5% interest in Production Licence 235, which comprises the producing onshore Brockham Oil Field.

Alba owns a 90 per cent interest in the Amitsoq Graphite Project in Southern Greenland and has an option over the remaining 10 per cent. In addition, the Company has 100 per cent of the Limerick base metal project in the Republic of Ireland and has applied for the reissue of a uranium permit in northern Mauritania, centred on known uranium-bearing showings.
