17/7/2020 10:28 | A lot of trades are shown this morning before the offical "market open". prices all over the place. Any thoughts as to significance - if any? | bullsvbears
16/7/2020 17:16 | An interesting "read across" earlier today, too. Update should be pretty good with all the recent ups and downs in the general market. | bullsvbears
16/7/2020 17:03 | Highest intra day, and close, for 6 weeks, even with the general market being weak. That's encoraging, let's hope there is more to come tomorrow. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
16/7/2020 16:05 | Trading update a week today GLA 😎 | hawaly
11/6/2020 16:33 | iWeb was also down earlier..... where do you go? GLA 😎 | hawaly
11/6/2020 16:30 | Yep online trading is a gonner with AJ Bell. At least HL can provide a service. | orinocor
11/6/2020 16:17 | Impossible to buy or sell just now on the website. Seems they cannot handle high volume of users. Very poor service for a large listed company. | orinocor
08/6/2020 21:43 | Hi all, My mate Peter @Conkers3 and myself did a Twin Petes Investing Podcast a few days ago and part of our discussion covers AJB. We also chatted about the current situation in the Markets and covered loads of Stocks and as always a fair bit of general Portfolio Management educational stuff. Anyway, if you use Apple, Audioboom, Overcast or Spotify you can find it under the 'Conkers Corner' Channel (you want TPI Podcast 24) and you can find it on Soundcloud at the link below. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful, Cheers, WD @wheeliedealer | thewheeliedealer
08/6/2020 17:00 | Share graph looks really bullish now. Like a tightly coiled spring! Just need HL to announce a takeover proposal!! Salty. | saltaire111
08/6/2020 12:50 | Site is performing OK now. | bullsvbears
08/6/2020 11:40 | yes but you can leave limit orders or telephone the dealers | robow
08/6/2020 09:23 | Is anyone else having issues with the trading platform on SIPP accounts - I haven't been able to place a trade all morning and AJBell site is now showing site outage? | fjgooner
04/6/2020 11:57 | Yes indeed, 1.5p isn't huge, but in the current situation its good to see a company maintaining the dividend and helping to support the share price. Now we've got back to 400p let's hope it stays at, or above, this key level. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
04/6/2020 11:18 | Not so shabby seeing as its just gone xd. AJB will surely benefit from any volatility. | bullsvbears
03/6/2020 10:12 | Share price struggling to get to & hold onto 400p. | umitw
03/6/2020 09:11 | AJB looking hot and customer numbers increasing. Note summary buying extract below ... Mo Tagari, has purchased 5,229 ordinary shares for £3.80per Ordinary Share; and Amber Tagari, has purchased 2,602 Ordinary Shares for £3.82 per Ordinary. Both the above transactions took place on 27 May 2020. | halfpenny
29/5/2020 16:37 | Nice auction to finish the week, it's getting close now. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06
29/5/2020 11:45 | Slowly and surely it's getting back to previous levels. I'm a little surprised it's taken this long to get back to the 400p placing price. | eaaxs06
27/5/2020 15:40 | Imagine how you would feel if you had bought the shares that were sold by the directors on THE SAME DAY as the placing? And on a bank holiday weekend. Needs to be investigated by the FCA. The whole episode has cost shareholders a couple of hundred millions pounds! This is a FTSE 250 company with directors with the mindset and morals of an AIM Microcap. Why the unhealthy rush to exit doors is another question that existing holders might want to ask? | brownie69
24/5/2020 13:41 | Insider trading is what it is, they directors are dodgy | spwh100
24/5/2020 10:58 | well said LM | robow
23/5/2020 17:02 | Supply zone at the top - Demand zone at the btm - so for anyone wishing to sell for any reason - that was good timing. | luckymouse
23/5/2020 12:25 | Typo56, Yes noticed the RNS ... as you say have buried the news over the bank holiday weekend ... must have know what Invesco would be doing. I wonder if any bought back in after the drop? | peterbill
23/5/2020 11:35 | With the finance director at Jarvis securities also selling some of his JIM holding on the 18th May. Could it be they see a market top ?. Either that or they need the deposit for next year's cruise :-). | tenapen
23/5/2020 09:28 | I would think the timing is just coincidence; most likely the directors just wanted to sell some following a very strong run and had to wait for results to come out due to a closed period. Invesco sold after the strong results as they have a new broom(s)in the funds invested here and having strong results should have helped with placing a large wedge. Does anybody have any view on the interest rate sensitivity of profits. Some of their statements have been a bit unclear to me. From the final results: The impact of a 25bps increase or decrease in UK base interest rates on the Group's revenue has been calculated and shown below. This has been modelled on a historical basis for each year separately assuming that the UK base rate was 25bps higher or lower than the actual position at the time. 2019 2018 GBP 000 GBP 000 + 25 bps (0.25%) 2,155 3,150 - 25 bps (0.25%) (4,150) (5,119) Then there was the 11th March trading statement that said some of the immediate impact would be mitigated but left things pretty open. Thoughts? | sammu |
