10/5/2022 10:48 | Having a bit of a wobble in advance of results. Never inspires confidence! Salty | saltaire111
09/5/2022 19:26 | I think they’ll be more to like in Wed’s update than dislike. Salty | saltaire111
06/5/2022 17:42 | id suggest its been massively outperforming vs mkt. esp after insider sales havent managed to break it. it isnt particularly expensive is in its favour and the outlook in greying hair terms is phenomenal. you would if higher usd and energy prices will crimp near term emerging mkt growth of which this is part of, but the mkt hasnt given up hope yet clearly. | roguetraderuk
06/5/2022 17:35 | Any suggestions as to why we have been in the doldrums for most of this year, in spite of a succession of very positive rns's? | bosbus
29/4/2022 10:49 | Great news that the Nigerian banking licence has been received. I look forward to hearing from AAF when their mobile money services will start and contribute to the bottom line. | strollingmolby
08/4/2022 09:42 | Good RNS to quantify max exposure to customers not providing NIN's. Guess this is effectively routing out customers who use their phone the least, and would have been most likely to discontinue their subscription in any case. Clearly unhelpful but given AAFs growth we should be able to mop that up with new uesrs in any case. | melody9999
25/3/2022 16:17 | Look like a very strong buy signal if placing is at 140 and they're trading at 139ish | mattd1

25/3/2022 08:12 | unbelieveably strong despite those placings this year. seems to bounce right back up despite whats happening in the world. these are still up on the year. trying to be patient but they dont give many chances here. | roguetraderuk
25/3/2022 08:06 | I wish they’d f-off with these discounted placings. | saltaire111
05/3/2022 17:26 | It isn't but the stock will be moved on the waves of sentiment. | hpcg
05/3/2022 14:43 | Not sure AAF business is in any way impacted by the Ukraine war? | melody9999

14/2/2022 11:59 | Airtel Africa Plc comprises departments providing telecommunication and mobile money services to customers in Nigeria, East and Central Africa, and Francophone Africa. The firm is currently offering prepaid and postpaid wireless voice, international roaming and fixed line telephone services, data communication services, including 2G, 3G and 4G and mobile money services, such as payments, microloans, savings and international money transfers. Given the wide range of audience and communication services provided, the firm optimised operating profit by 43.1% to $1,146m. As a result, net cash grew 23.1% to $1499m, which led to an attractive Price to Free cashflow of 8x. Consequently, it implied that Airtel Africa Plc was able to fund its operating activities while enhancing profitability, simultaneously illustrated by the EV/EBITDA of 4.96x. From a valuation perspective, the firm’s Price to Earnings ratio was 13x, signifying that the firm is undervalued with respect to the communication services sector, since its P/E ratio stood at 23.8x, hence the security is expected to surge in value. This evidence is supported by the corporation’s EPS growth of 23%...from WealthOracleAM | km18
09/2/2022 15:48 | after the last placing these sloshed about for a while before moving higher. id let the placing get digested and maybe in the meantime you get general mkt weakness which can push these one more leg lower into last years range. probably would be worth a stab then. | roguetraderuk
09/2/2022 15:45 | I wanna buy some more but this is now over 10% of my equity exposure. I dare not bust it further. But really tempting. #frustrating Salty | saltaire111

08/2/2022 10:21 | Topped up also as the fundamentals are good and a good share to hold in the current market conditions | izztre
08/2/2022 08:21 | I have also just bought some more (actual shares this time) ... I got into Airtel on one of these institutional disposals last April... so no panic here. | timbo_slice

08/2/2022 08:11 | have just bought a load more. Underlying business & results IMO are stonking, instis sell every now and again and others have bought them at 7p higher than current offer price FFS, so IMO a big over-reaction and have put my money where my mouth is....DYOR and GLA!
